Sarah Palin - pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-drilling, small government, strong defense, fiscal conservative, butt kicker. Hope some of it rubs off on McCain. And an Army Mom to boot! I may even be able to support this ticket.

Me, too.

We now have an ANTI-antichrist.

I'm overjoyed, having been depressed all summer.

Palin for President! (eventually)

This was an AWESOME pick! Couldn’t have done a better job IMHO! All the head fakes McCain did were hilarious. One of the people on Fox said he has been making secret trips to Alaska to meet with Palin. They know how to keep a secret.

Truer words were never spoken.

Where before I was going to vote for McCain, becasue "What else are you gonna do?"

Now after hearing the acceptance speech and doing a bit of research, I am finally happy to be voting for McCain / Palin Nov 4th (democrats, your day to vote is Nov 5th...)

I STILL detest the worthless jerk ... you don't change what McClame is .... but before there was not a chance voting for him ..... I will still not vote for him, but will vote for his by far better half.

I see Governor Palin going a long way ... she taught Murkoski what she thought of him .. and That other RINO’s bridge to nowhere is on it in her view.

I will say one thing positive about McCain ... He was smart enough to give us a gift that shines. To that I say thank you Senator McCain.

Same here. Yesterday I was voting for McCain simply as a vote against Obambi. Today I'm voting for McCain and Palin. I suspect a lot of grassroots conservatives feel that way today, too.

I think this is an unfortunate choice. This woman is not qualified to be commander in chief. There goes McCain’s best argument. I’m afraid this won’t work out and the Republicans will lose this year.

Then again, maybe McCain deserves to lose after being pro-illegal immigration, anti-tax cuts, and helping liberals like Russ Feingold.

Sarah Polin is not qualified to take over as the president. I wish she were. But as an American first, conservative second, Republican third, I can’t say I’m happy about her selection. I don’t have confidence in her just a heartbeat away.

Lets hope she doesn’t do a Lieberman... That is change her “beliefs” to fit with McCain’s. I can accept that she reflect McCain’s positions as VP, but not that she’s changed her beliefs in order to be VP.

I’m sure a lot of people have gained a lot of trust for John McCain after this pick. It is great to be able to get behind a ticket strongly without reservation. Let’s put a ticket into the White House we can be proud of McCain/Palin a perfect combination of conservatism, courage, strength, straight talk, intelligence, and beauty. Now let’s get out there and defeat the Obama-Nation.
