Will Democrats really attack Palin's experience? Obama's campaign has been about giving up big money and the corporate world to help people. Palin has done this in her community, fighting for the people, reducing taxes, reducing her own salary, and fighting unethical people in her own party. She has been working on behalf of people for 16 years (as opposed to someone who only talks about helping people.) She has big and small government executive leadership. And she will be the only person of the 4 who has executive experience. And now a comparison of their political resumes:
Sarah Palin
1992-1996 City Councilwoman 1996-2002 Wasilla Mayor - (Reduced her own salary and Property Taxes by 60%) 2003-2004 Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission(resigned in protest over Alaskan Republicans) 2006-2008 Alaska Governor
Barack Obama State Senator 1997-2004 (no real accomplishments) US Senator 2005-2008 (no real accomplishments, except running for President and paying off his student loans)
Go Ahead, Obama. attack... we dare you : )
Hey, jerk, he raised his hand and said “here!” 400 times or whatever without the aid of a teleprompter.
So back off racist.
Obama has no experience, and no accomplishments. Obama sits on the fence and takes credit for the work of others.
Palin is the real change agent and reformer with a record of success.
Obama running for P, Palin for VP, I’d add that any proper comparison should include 4 VP years of experience to her being Governor, since that would be the likely timeframe for Palin as P.
McCain must have a FR screen name or lurk. We had Sarah rated in the top two since before McCain sewed it up.
It had nothing to do with Hillary. It had little to do with her gender. It was record, actioms and principles.
We are a Christian home-schooling family.
When I mentioned to my family this morning that Sarah Palin, a Christian homeschooling mother of five, might be McCain’s pick for VP, the excitement level went through the roof.
Pr 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Palin might spell DOOM for the Obama-bin-Biden camp.
Oh, I don’t know...BO managed to get a Chicago slumlord to help him buy his $1.5mil mansion. He managed to hook up with an assortment of Leftists from his teen years to the present. He managed to get Soros to bankroll his political career. And after his election to state government, his crabby wife managed to get a $300,000 “public service” job with no visible qualifications other than an affirmative action degree from an Ivy League diploma mill for minorities.
I’d say these two have accomplished a lot, considering their scant qualifications and abilities.
I think they’ll attack the hypocrisy of attacking Obama and they’ll attack Palin’s husband working for BP oil. He’ll be ‘just another oilman like Bush’, “more of the same”, blah blah
What they are both too stupid to realize is that McCain has them stepping on their johnsons already. ANy attack on "inexperience" simply highlights the fact that Obama has none.
McCains a smart guy.

I sure hope Palin is his VP. I have been supporting that choice for some time now....
What experience? If the case can be made that Obama does not have the experience to be President then there is no way in hell one can say Palin does either. And given McCain's age and health, that's a valid issue to be raised during the campaign. And I guarantee the Democrats will be jumping all over it.
Less than 12 hours and nobody on the nets is talking about Obamas speech.
This may be one of the best campaings run by a Republican in a long, long time.
One might say that...if the head of the ticket wasn't 72 with a history of health issues. Selecting Palin takes the entire 'Ready to lead' question out of the Republicans hands. If Obama isn't ready to lead then neither is Palin.
Nice summary and report... I agree completely... And for the Veep debates, bring it on, Scrappy Joe from Scranton! Let’s see all of Scrappy Joe’s scrappiness deal with Governor Sarah Palin.
And how can you use Obama's inexperience is an issue when the person you select as VP, the person a heart-beat away from the presidency, is just as inexperienced as your opponent is?
They home school? REally?
will be in Washington County, Pa on saturday, hope it is her and that she comes along, looking forward to seeing them.
