well, 7years ago, 9.11 event atracted USA's attention from fighting China to fighting Muslims. then China succeeded in obtain "precious 7 years" to escape from the attention of USA and develope itself.
Now, what Russia is doing ,just like 9.11 7 years ago, will pull USA's attention from CHina again....then CHina may luckily get another "gold 7 years" to arm itself economicly and militarily...
May Gold bless CHina!

Anyway, this new turn of event between the U.S. and Russia is actually good for China and Chinese.
The U.S. is always looking for an enemy, a bad guy. Or a couple. Just so they can be the “good guy”. Now that the U.S. has its hands full with the Islamic terrorists and Russians, they will leave Chinese alone.
Which means Hollywood — the biggest culprit of fanning anti-Chinese sentiment in America — will also start making movies with Russian bad guys instead of Chinese one.
then ,China can throw more resource to earn more money ,when USA and Russia throw more money into wars and fights.

but Russia really has all the power and leverage at this point, and Russia doesn't give a damn -- just like the U.S. didn't give a damn back during the Kosovo incident.
Russia thinks it has power and leverage, but it really has resource sales to the West and Western investment. Both of which could dry up at any moment leaving people waiting in line for toilet paper.
You are already seeing capital flight from Russia as investors realize that its not a safe place to invest. BP is finding out that the law there only works for special people.
China knows what it is doing. Russia is just strutting about and will get a hangover at some point.

There are other things that China is factoring into its decisions. It has billions of dollars invested in US bonds and sells billions of dollars worth of goods in the US. As far as being a business partner is concerned, the US is reliable - it operates under a systems of laws, not a system of expropriation and thuggery like Russia.
China is crucially dependent on trade and overseas investments. If its economy tanks, with widespread unemployment, there is likely to be rebellion at home leading to instability of the regime.
China may be distrustful of both the US and Russia in political terms, but it will be very cautious about doing anything to upset its position in the US market or to do something to damage the US economy.

...the lunatic fringe, back at it again...some how, some way, everything bad that happens is because of America...how depressing it must be to have a “I'm sorry” mind set all the time.

China spent most of the Cold War arming communist revolutionaries to overthrow their respective governments and abrogating territorial treaties it did not like as “unequal treaties”. China is no respecter of UN rules or international law. It imposes huge tariffs on foreign imports even as foreign countries impose nugatory tariffs on Chinese imports, so it is no respecter of reciprocity either.
