Denver, Aug 25, 2008 / 11:51 pm (CNA).- Tim Gill, a billionaire from Colorado who has funded homosexual activism throughout the United States, spoke at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) Delegates Caucus at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, outlining how he has worked to advance homosexual causes in U.S. politics. Gill endorsed undermining rising politicians critical of homosexual advocacy by targeting donations to benefit their opponents on the state level.
Gill, who was introduced at the caucus as one of the nation’s largest funders of LGBT “civil rights initiatives,” reportedly has spent $150 million on LGBT issues. He is the former CEO of the software publishing company Quark, Inc. and is also the founder of the Gill Action Fund, a major backer of homosexual political candidates and causes.
“Every single advance for gay rights has come at the state level,” Gill said, saying the most important thing the Democratic LGBT delegates could do is “go back and support those pro-gay state legislators, and eliminate the anti-gay state legislators.”
He encouraged the delegates to donate to state candidates out of state, especially in rural areas.
The billionaire homosexual activist also counseled the audience not to donate to unwinnable races, but rather to focus their donations where they will most likely change the outcome of elections.
“Just a little bit of money goes a long way,” he said.
If all the LGBT delegates donated fifty dollars to specially targeted races, which he numbered at no more than ten or twenty per election year, Gill said “we can get rid of them.”
By successfully changing Republican legislatures to Democratic ones, Gill claimed, “the net result is always good for gays.”
Though he was a Democrat speaking at the Democratic National Convention, Gill claimed he and the LGBT delegates were in a “battle for the soul of the Republican Party,” a party which he claimed was controlled by “a bunch of bigots.”
“The only way bigots are going to learn is if we take their power away from them,” he asserted.
He counseled the delegates to find the next Rick Santorum, the former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, and “end his career.”

Organizers at the LGBT Caucus claimed as members at least 274 of the more than 4,000 DNC delegates attending the convention.

If you believe that the nucleus of the American way of life is marriage between a man and a woman for the purpose of begetting children, if you believe that sodomy is gravely sinful, if you believe that homosexuality is disordered, then you're "a bigot".

He is bigoted towards people who care about America and freedom and he obviously believes in the notion of a few ruling over the majority. In other words, he is a fascist and believes his money grants him special rights to shape the planet as he would like to see it.

Until reasonable advocates are willing to see homosexuality for what it is— the embodiment of sexism. They will continue to flounder and be rhetorically flogged as “bigots.”
Sexual fundamentalism— expressed in various forms including homosexuality— is taking rule over the nation.
I heard that Colorado recently passed the most anti-Christian, pro-gay law in the country that would punish anyone for teaching that homosexuality is a sin. Can anyone corroborate that? Now that I’ve read about this Gill character, I can believe it.
I am all for the rights the US Constitution lists for citizens. As citizens, we have equal rights that God granted humankind. The Lord cautioned us to use those rights responsibly as well as to worship Him.
Billionaire Gill and his crowd don’t want equal rights for homosexuals, they want to get a ticket to the head of the line for government handouts, jobs and act up if they don’t feel they are treated special.
They don’t want to join or respect us, they want it their way over our way. Man-Woman marriage is the rock of our society and they want to break it, not have it.

Gill can throw around the bigot term but as Romans 1 states those that practice sodomy have rejected God and His righteousness. They worship the creature more than the Creator. We can pray that Gill will repent and turn to Christ our Lord and God our Father.

The Gay Mogul Changing U.S. Politics
In a new list of the most powerful gay men and women in the country, Out magazine has lots of household names at the top: David Geffen, Ellen DeGeneres, Rosie O'Donnell, Barney Frank and a couple of allegedly closeted stars. But high among the rich and famous is Tim Gill. Huh? Who is he, and why is he ranked as the fourth most powerful gay person in the country?
Gill is a 53-year-old snowboarder, retired computer programmer and multimillionaire. He made his fortune (estimated at $425 million by Forbes magazine) by founding Quark, the pioneering desktop publishing software company. After selling the firm, he started the Gill Foundation, which has invested $110 million nationwide in gay causes over the past decade. The Gill Action Fund threw $15 million into a dozen states during the 2006 midterm elections, targeting 70 politicians regarded as unhelpful to gay causes: 50 went down. And the fund is helping transform the political face of Colorado.
In 2004, Gill's money helped send Democrat Ken Salazar to the U.S. Senate. His dollars have also helped put Democrats in control of the Colorado legislature for the first time in four decades. That could have an impact on the fate of the Two Parent Adoption Bill, currently being considered by Colorado legislators, which would allow gay couples to adopt. The proposal was rejected twice before, but that was before the statehouse switched from red to blue. Now Colorado Democrats have passed the bill in the House and expect it to pass the Senate.
Impatient with the lack of gay rights progress this past decade, Gill is pushing hard to end injustice and inequality by the end of the next decade. And recognizing that most anti-gay initiatives are born at the state level, Gill has developed a national political strategy based on successes in Colorado. "They've taken an in-state model and applied it to the entire country," says Denver political analyst Floyd Ciruli. "Gill [and his people are] incredibly strategic. They simply don't waste money. They put their funding where they can take control of legislatures." Ciruli adds, "People were unaware of what was going on for quite awhile, but now I think everybody knows that they have really changed the direction of the state. I'm not sure that everyone really understands how potent [Gill] is, but he now has to be the number one gay rights advocate in the country in terms of funding and strategy. They're taking significant contributions and putting them brilliantly in legislative environments where a few seats changing will change the entire control of a state."
The money is not always filtered through political parties, although much goes to Democrats. Almost all goes to tax-exempt 527 political organizations. Says Dr. John Straayer, a Colorado State University political scientist, "You see checks written, big checks, sometimes six-figure checks with Gill's name. They're pretty strategic in terms of targeting legislative races and then unleashing torrents of mail into those districts." But no announcements of impending political targets are made; the word "stealth" occurs frequently in discussions of Gill and his associates.
We need to find a way to show the denver convention as an overwhelmingly homsexual populated convention. The right images will be devastating to their party. something no billionare can cunter. The truth hurts.
