In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.

Doubtful, but we can only hope. I can't even imagine the chaos that will follow.

Obama is showing himself as the complete and utter buffoon that he really is, even to some of his loyal followers.

Hillary was basically tossed out months ago, and is likely just watching and waiting for her comeback, which SHE WILL PURSUE. This is her destiny, and cannot be denied.

This is the first poll to cite just LIKELY voters.. I told you, when a democrat is up only a few in the “registered voter” category, he’s down in the likely voters category and losing.

Also keep in mind this is a ZOGBY poll who is a complete democratic shill, so you can probably add at least another 1-2 points to McCain on top of these 5 just based on his bias.

I think the Clintoons will do everything in their power to derail Oduma this fall with the goal of focusing on 2012. If he wins, the wicked witch is finished in national politics. I lost faith in "the inherent genius" of the American electorate when they elected Bill Clinton twice to the Presidency and almost elected Al Gore and John Kerry;
