Russian General Threatens Poland with Attack over US deal
Jerusalem Post ^ | 15 Aug 2008 | Associated Press

Posted on 08/15/2008 6:40:42 AM PDT by docbnj

A top Russian general said Friday that Poland's agreement to accept a US missile defense battery exposes the country to attack, pointing out that Russian military doctrine permits the use of nuclear weapons in such a situation, the Interfax news agency reported. *** Interfax said he added, in clear reference to the agreement, that Russia's military doctrine sanctions the use of nuclear weapons "against the allies of countries having nuclear weapons if they in some way help them." Nogovitsyn said that would include elements of strategic deterrence systems, according to Interfax.

Great! Put it in bold! What you think you caught me or something?
I’m not going to sit here and lie and say I served and pretend something I’m not unlike yourself.

Yeah you’re right, maybe I’ll drop my mortgage, leave my baby and wife, quit my job and make the choice to leave to satisfy someone who has trolled the message boards for 8 years.

Look at this private reply that ‘Itsareligionofpeace’ sent me, he actually tries to sell that he is conservative:

I’m guessing that you’re a late teen or early 20’s, so I’ll be a little nicer about this than usual.

First, check out my profile. I’ve been here for years, probably since you were in elementary school. I am a true conservative. I also try to approach issues with logic and reason. In situations like this, it’s always good to ask, “Is the issue great enough an issue that it would make sense for someone to place me in harms way.”

I won’t even entertain your idiotic comments about running to Canada.

Your 1st cousin is in the Navy. Why don’t you ask him how he likes the idea of us carpet bombing Russians tomorrow. Of course, if he’s a good sailor, he’ll say that he’s not wild about it but that he’ll do whatever needs to be done. But, he’ll also tell you that he hopes whenever he’s asked to put his life in harms way, the leaders who made the decision have made a rational and smart decision. Nothing controversial here, right?

Now, when some d Bag on FR starts mentioning carpet bombing and dropping nukes, I think it’s very reasonable for me to ask them about there ridiculous positions. Especially when they use terms like “we”, “let’s”.

Hopefully this will help you think a little more clearly and with a higher level of maturity. You certainly have enough bad role models on FR.

Have a good day.
_—————————————————————————

A conservative who implies the FR is basically a bad role model? He thinks his four quotes on his profile validates him has conservative. Too funny!
Oh and I love the part where he’s “being a little nicer” than usual.

I’m a “dumbass” for admitting that I haven’t served...

Unlike your ace in the hole of NOT admitting YOU haven’t served either? Or that you don’t even like the military. Or that you’re an 8 year liberal troll??

It’s really sad that you have to pretend to be someone or something you’re not to a bunch of people who will never change their mind.

YOU’RE NOT EVEN BRAVE ENOUGH TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF ON A FREAKING MESSAGE BOARD. AND UNTIL SUCH TIME YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DEMAND STANDARDS OF FREEPERS PERSONAL LIVES.

It’s funny how a family member being in the military (i.e. possibility of going to war) was the standard you first set. Now, the standard has to be: the skin of the very person voicing his opinion.

Get a life!

He might be a conservative. He’s also an internet tough guy who spends most of his time here anonymously insulting strangers. That’s really all I need to know about the dude to know that he isn’t worth the time of day.

There’s nothing more boring than an internet badass who vandalizes every thread with meaningless insults. Every message board has an unlimited supply of these types. They’re a dime a dozen.

Forget about him. He’s actually very easy to ignore.

My whole point is that it’s very easy to be an internet commando and to call for war, when any rational person would take a more rational and realistic approach.

If you were truly "rational," you'd certainly realize that most folks you are calling "internet commandoes" are venting and realize full well the situation is a complex one. they also are aware that their internet postings will have little direct effect on america's military policy.

I think maybe you need to go for a walk or something; the internet is serious business and it can overwhelm a fellow sometimes.

If you examine the scriptures, especially the Old Testament you will see God rewards and punishes nations based on their behavior. Sodom and Gomorrah being one example. But Israel itself in its various cultures received blessings and punishment based on the behavior of its people and leaders. Yes they all have free will. But thats beside the point. Thumbing your nose at the creator —as much of our recent culture has— is done at great risk in my opinion. Whether you call it God withholding His blessings or actively punishing...its all the same. Its clear to me that our great country needs to cleanup its act, and turn our hearts back toward God and His ways. Its clear to me that the farther we stray from Godly based principals that our founders initiated, the weaker we become as a nation, and the more we lack resolve to stand up and stand firm for what is right.

You may not like Bush but the alternative would have had us in a much less safe World. Bush stood his ground and got something done. Not like Clinton. We commit with Bush, and he’s going to finish the job. Was it costly..yes. Was it perfect no. But it has worked to keep our country safe. Like it or not we have a culture that many in the world would like to topple. There are decisions that have to made to keep us safe. The economic situation we are in due to our involvment in Iraq for example does NOT serve the multination corporations. I personally disagree with many of Bushes policies, but I don’t disagree with finishing what you started. And of course that isn’t free. We have to back those in the world —like Georgia— who are friends of freedom and who are being hammered. Georgia Poland and Ukraine should be admitted into NATO if for no other reason than Russia just attacked Georgia.

War is an awful alternative. But sometimes..in oder to keep the greater peace, you need to make a stand. We shouldnt fight at the drop of a hat but we should make a stand for what is right and not desert our friends to a fate like being Sovietized. Im sure you wouldnt want to live in a state like the Soviet Union was. No real freedom. If the Russians invaded New York tomorrow, would that be enough for you, or would you just surrender? We all fool ourselves into thinking that Russia, and China, have huge elements in them that still have an underlying agenda which NOT in the best interests of peace or freedom. We have the responsibility to stand up against those elements because the long term alternative is a very unpeaceful, unGodly, unacceptable world.

We have not yet used our greatest weapon...Wall St. It is time to let the Rooskies know who holds all the cards in this poker game. It is time to get every American bank, mutual fund, insurance company, foundation and every other institution to start selling every Russian stock that we own. Choke the Rooskies in billions of overnight losses and convince the Europeans to do the same. Let the Rooskies know that if you want to be a bully, there is not a single place on earth outside of Russia to park your rubles!

“You may not like Bush but the alternative would have had us in a much less safe World. “

I know. I voted for and supported him in both elections. Same thing now with McCain.

But I’m getting damn tired of having to back the lesser of two evils.

He is saying that there are some left wing wackos now saying that this whole thing ( Russia attacking Georgia ) was planned by Dick Chenney so Obama won't win the election.

That's hilarious, especially in light that all the players involved are George Soros puppets.

>>” Their doctrine is pretty much that they can attack anyone they wish with nuclear weapons. “

Admitting to a “first use” doctrine is a line that, to my knowledge, the Soviets never crossed...

Bah, they're just finally responding to our 2002 pre-emptive strike statement. LOL....The fact it took them this long testifies to their intimidation level.

The fact is we invited them to the dance, they accepted, and then showed up at the dance with Oil-for-Food.

Now in Georgia the Bear has stepped in a trap and is lashing out in all directions.

They've had this coming since 1941. Frankly I'm tired of living under their threats for all my life but 15 years. Even now they have their missles aimed at us and armed. Do it now I say. Take them down again.

It seems apparent to me that the Soviets are counting on NoBama to become POTUS.

Nah, they know it doesn't matter. Soros openly owns Obama (who was used to get Stalinist Hildabeast out of the way)...and McCain is "life-long" friends with Saakashvili, another Soros puppet.

Soros has two horses in a two horse race, the Russians know it, there's no sense for them to wait it out when they have an already "weak" President they can try to intimidate now.

With the standing army in Miami and Columbian troops....:)
