ABC Radio news just announced Sen. John Edwards will admit to the affair with Rielle Hunter in an interview with the network, but insists the child is not his.
We return you to your regularly-scheduled FReeping.
I believe these days there are ways for him to prove this.
John Edwards:
“Hey, I’m not such a bad guy...... at least I didn’t take Rielle for a ride in an Oldsmobile.....on a one-lane bridge..... in the middle of the night..... just be glad she is still around to raise the child, with a nice juicy payout from my supporters.”
/sarcasm
“B/S. He was the official Democrat candidate for Vice President. And was a Democrat favorite for president. And on presumptuous Democrat presidential candidate Obamas short list for VP. The guy needs to be tarred and feathered and the entire Democrat party tarred and feathered with him. Its for the children.”
All I have been saying is that it does not help McCain to play this up more than is needed. Edwards is done, nothing changes that now. McCain will not want a protracted discussion of marital issues, why is this so difficult to understand?
“It’s for the children”? wth does that mean?

You keep insinuating that McCain will do this. Look, I'm not a fan of John McCain, but I think you're going overboard a bit even suggesting that McCain would even be associated with making this an issue. I think you need to refine your comments.
Which makes it even worse because then he is saying he risked his and his wife’s health by having sex with a woman who has unprotected sex with God knows who.
I wonder if the moonbats that are still driving around with Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers will do some editing by ripping off the “Edward” half. Then again, probably not.
Newt who?
Why? He says he's not the dad -- what does he have to fear? Prove it.
We could have the results, oh, say, on the morning of Barry's Nuremberg Address, er, acceptance speech.
He's using the Clinton playbook. Notice that it's a Friday. The always tried to dump the bad news on a Friday.
If this had been Huckabee or some other Republican presidential candidate it would be dominating the news cycle.
Imagine how the woman feels hearing him tell the world she was sleeping around, and that he didn’t love her anyway ...
And imagine that baby girl growing up and hearing her father say these hideous things in public and so obviously lying.
If I had given Edwards money for his campaign, I’d ask for it back. He met the woman in a bar and he hired her even though she had no experience!
So...Edwards admits to the affair but says he never loved the woman..........
Hmm, nice touch.
Yeah, he had an affair but didn’t enjoy it.. right!
It must be so nice going through life being the love child of a famous dork. “Hi. My dad is Jessie Jackson, and my existence is a scandal”.
“You missed my point...Edwards is done...it does not help McCain to introduce this as an issue in the campaign.”

I agree...i meant to say that it does not help McCain FOR OTHERS TO INFLATE this as an issue in the campaign. I stand corrected. However, if McCain would not be associated with making this a campaign issue, then we should not be either, that is all I am saying. Cheers, Ax
Oh speaking of which...will Kerry make a statement or is he devastated?
Are they upset?

Wow, I had almost forgotten about that little ‘distinction’ for Edwards, right around the time when Rielle’s baby was being conceived (June 7, 2007..... baby born Feb. 27, 2008).
Can someone save this video somehow, in case it gets ‘disappeared’ by the liberal airbrushing of history?
When she starts saying her granddaddy was a mill worker, then we'll know who's the Daddy.
>>All I have been saying is that it does not help McCain to play this up more than is needed. Edwards is done, nothing changes that now. McCain will not want a protracted discussion of marital issues, why is this so difficult to understand?
McCain is not responsible for what the rest of us say.
If the Left thought they could gain a poll point by slamming McCain on his first marriage they would do it no matter what we are saying.
Plus I don’t think many people would take Democrats very seriously if they harped on about marriage anyway.
How Clintonesque, releasing it on a Friday. It’ll be dead by Monday.
