what is up with all the duplicate threads?(vanity)

what is the deal with all the duplicate threads lately?

it seems like there are several of the same threads posted over and over sometimes there are threads that were posted from the day or days before often there are muliptle threads of the same topic on the first page. I have been guilty of this as well even though I have searched for the keyword

maybe the search feature should be the first item that comes up when you try and post a new thread and you could enter one word and it would search for that word as a title and a keyword

for example if you searched "obama" it would list all topics that had obama in the title or as a keyword

also didn't the topics that got the most responses used to move back to the top of the page?

When you use the new search, it defaults to keywords. Make sure you change it to ‘titles’ before you search.

I know I searched before posting a thread on the Pheonix accident and found nothing ... but someone claims it is a dupe.

Don’t know how that happened unless it was a different title.
