Ohio Inmate Claims He's Too Fat to Be Executed

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A death row inmate scheduled for execution in October says he's so fat that Ohio executioners would have trouble finding his veins and that his weight could diminish the effectiveness of one of the lethal injection drugs.

Lawyers for Richard Cooey argue in a federal lawsuit that Cooey had poor veins when he faced execution five years ago and that the problem has been worsened by weight gain.

As far as I'm concerned lethal injection is far to humane for any capital crime, the electric chair was nice but nothing beats a good old lynch mob for lowlifes like this. Be it high voltage or a short rope and a tall tree being fat just does not make any difference at all and both are far more humane than what his victims received.

I would prefer to see him take a 9mm to the back of the head. It's quick, lethal and quite easy on the wallet. About 35 cents a round if I remember correctly.

A plastic bag over his head would be even cheaper.
