I’ve made some calls and plan to make more. If by this action we can get the President to call for the return of Congress, we’ll have done good. Finally, our Repoublican Congressmen are making me proud. This is the 21st century Boston Tea Party!. I’m in Pa. but would be willing to take a day off this week to go to Capitol Hill and support our Congressmen and women to determine and vote on an energy policy.

What a country! :-)

I'm perfectly aware of the House broadcasting rules. This doesn't preclude the Pubs from manning the ramparts and calling out Nancy Pelose and her Ministry of Suppression with ferocity. In my memory, I can't recall the Republicans pulling a stunt like this. So they'd have the moral high ground. Remember this is a war of propaganda.

Thanks, but Pelosi is vulnerable here. She has members that want to split away from the Politburo’s no-drilling-where-there-is-oil policy.

She can say what she wants. But if she holds her Dems to toe the line, all of the conservative Dems are at risk in this election and quite a number of not so conservative Dems.
