Yes, we should agree to pray for that. : )

Activism without prayer is not enough.

From LGF tonight.

Actually, the historic part of this event was what sparked it... namely the Dems gavelling out the session before everyone got their usual chance to make a speech to the empty chamber. You know those silly speeches into the record where the representative is alone except for the janitor, droning on because he knows no one is listening? Well, because a record number of Republicans signed up for those today (apparently about half of the entire delegation) Pelosi & Co. broke all precedent and tradition and gavelled the session closed early... the vote for adjournment was apparently much earlier, so they were just holding it ready for whenever they wanted to enforce it.

That’s what sparked a few Republicans to demand their speech time... which rolled into more than a few and eventually a whole bunch. Meanwhile, Democrat aides ran about mouthing off in front of reporters about “morons” and how they couldn’t let the Republicans have any press time. Add in the police being called to clear the gallery, and the various cameras, mics, and lights being turned off... and you’ve got this ridiculous, frantic, and very very Un-American afternoon for the Pelosi camp.

Yeah.

I’m wary of making judgmental assumptions, too.

But I agree. It was a wholesale opportune moment—ripe for patriotism, sanity, righteousness, goodness etc. to stand tall.

To sort of start to stand up then to punt and scurry off . . . horrible.

Some are saying—they can come back Monday. I’ll be quite shocked if they do AT ALL. Quite shocked. I’m betting they won’t.

They are tooooo used to putting their personal and the globalists’ goals first before the people and the Republic.

I’ll get the media out for it next week. At the end of next week, check out RagingDebate.com . It’s a service myself and some other gentleman with some resources are building. Mobilizing as fast as I can :)

It certainly was a coup de’etat wasnt it? The depth of these people has reached treason. It will require much to get them out of office.

What you said! And Freepers can keep this going. Maybe not at the same energy as the five hours today, but we can keep the spirit of this movement alive. Whether it’s emails to our rep’s, letters, phone calls to the White House, phone calls to McCains’ camp. This is a win for the Repub’s. It’s time to own the drilling issue.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if Pres. Bush would gavel in a special session of the House during this vacation.

What are the Constitutional ramifications?
