Barack Obama wrote his senior thesis at Columbia University on Soviet nuclear disarmament. Inquiring people have sought a copy of this thesis to no avail. Columbia says it cannot be found; Barack Obama says he lost it.
How likely is that a person so impressed with himself that he writes an autobiography just a few years later would "lose" his senior thesis? After all, a Presidential Library must be filled. And as Jim Geraghty at National Review and others have noted there are a lot of blank spots -- missing records and the like -- having to do with Barack Obama.
But one question remains. If Barack Obama devoted a year researching and writing about Soviet nuclear disarmament, how could he fail to get the facts down about the Kennedy-Khrushchev meeting in Vienna?
Maybe there are good reasons he wants to bury this thesis. Did he get it wrong there,too? Did he just coast at Columbia on his interesting background and personal charm?

I just got off the phone with the Obama Senate offices in DC. I asked for a calendar and itinerary regarding Mr. Obama’s where-bout’s on the nights in question.
As it turns out they claim that no history of his travels at that time are available.

I can promise you that every politician and elected official at the State or Federal level in this country has a calendar of events and require staff to keep accurate history logs of their activities. Almost without exception.
I asked if they could provide other dates and there does appear to be a record of those????
C’mon .. Obviously if the Obama folks won’t account for the dates in question, that alone, more than supports Larry’s claim and therefore as the only sane person in the debate .. I am ruling on this here and now

Perhaps Obama - in a rare moment of honest self appraisal - realized his paper was inferior and it was hidden/destroyed as an act of self defense.
He saw what happened to Michelle, when her sub-standard paper was released and ridiculed.
All evidence of being a quota or Affirmative Action admission has to be kept from the public.....because they would clash with the myth of his supreme intellect and omnipotent leadership.
That -- and the possibility his papers and records would reveal an Obama "he didn't know".....and end up having to throw himself under the bus....

Exactly what I thought when I went down through the list. The Britney/Paris ad was cute because undecideds could see it and just laugh it off as being silly.
On the other hand, running a TV commercial that shows he’s hiding EVERYTHING will galvanize the theme that the McCain camp has been recently running like no other message can.
Nothing better than showing that he is hiding his ENTIRE past to demonstrate that he can never be trusted as president.

Your list is really a brilliant idea for a relatively inexpensive yet very effective campaign ad.
I’d encourage you to contact the Mack campaign or whatever group and get moving on this. The list could be read by a deep, deep authoritarian judge-type voice such as that of James Earl Jones.
Please consider this or at the very least turn it into a Youtube commercial.
