One can really give the Leftist PC crowd a collective stroke by reminding them of the close relationship that the German National Socialists and the Soviet Communists shared regarding many of their political and sociological ideas and their symbology, particularly but not limited to their earlier days, such as when Adolf Hitler himself, in 1920, adopted the exact same version of the Leftist Swastika as the Soviet Union was using.
Unlike the traditional swastika with which it had little relationship, the Soviet/Nazi fylfot was of a 45 degree clockwise right hand type with particular proportions and had a specific assigned meaning, as it was described as being a stylized crossed letter 'S', representing Socialism.
This provides an excellent refutation of the modern Left Wing dogma that Nazis were right wingers. They were nothing of the sort. Fascism was merely a variant of Left Wing Socialism, just as Communism was.
Also, the Nazis supported a wide variety of socialist give-away and cradle-to-grave programmes. Thanks for posting this.

C’mon, there is not much difference between National Socialists and Soviet Socialists. They are both socialists. They were both terribly nationalistic.
Godwin’s Law: the first person to suggest Hitler or Nazis in a debate: loses.
Don’t be dumb.
There’s no debate - Godwin’s Law has nothing to do with my post.
The Nazis were a total rip off & repackaging of Leftist ideology & ideals. Though the Swastika itself goes back even further to ancient times & has been used (& is still used in Hindu religious symbolism) by a number of other cultures around the world.
Or, if you’d rather, it’s the Left that ‘mentioned’ Hitler and the Nazis in this context first. Perhaps you can remind them of Godwin’s Law.
National Socialism was rave here in the USA under Roosevelt.
To me, the comparison is moot. The Globalist Socialist Nazi's of today wear Armani, ski in Aspen and sip Cristal.
The hackenkreutz or broken cross (swastika) was a common motif in German occultist beliefs, specifically the Thule Gesellschaft (Thule Society).
That was my understanding.
I would say they borrowed it from the Navajo indians, theirs is the reverse of the German one.
My parents had a Navajo blanket that they picked up on their honeymoon in 1923 that was the swastica in reverse.
It's dated 1918. Note the two headed eagle on the obverse. I think this is a Czarist note.
My Russian isn't that good. Any Russian speakers on the thread who can help?
In the Soviet Union Trotsky was the proponent of the first, while Stalin was a National Communist. Nazism is typical leftist/statist policies combined with some right-wing ideological elements, foremostly Nationalism.
It’s definitely post Czarist, since they were deposed in 1917. These Soviet bank notes were designed after the Czarist reign and issued from later in 1917 until, I understand, 1922.
Godwin’s Law huh? Is that one of the 10 commandments? Did Newton leave that one out? Is it part of the theory of relativity? Does it have something to do with the relationship between spending and nominial GDP?
I didn’t think so. I think Godwin’s law is a remark made by some attorney. So forgive me if I don’t find its authority up their with the laws of God or science?
