Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, met with House Democrats yesterday, talking about his trip abroad and his observations.
Obama told the caucus, according to an attendee, "Nobody said this to me directly but I get the feeling from my talks that if the sanctions don’t work Israel is going to strike Iran."
The notion that Israel is preparing for such an action against Iran's myriad nuclear facilities is not new, with conjecture heating up in May after an Israeli military exercise featuring 150 aircraft flying almost a thousand miles over the Mediterranean Sea in what was seen as a dress rehearsal for an air strike. Now that the Bush administration is engaged in diplomatic efforts with Iran, many Israeli officials are worried the US is getting soft on Iran, prompting Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak to travel to the US this week to meet with Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley. Barak's office released a statement saying "a policy that consists of keeping all options on the table must be maintained."
Another attendee at the meeting of House Democrats recalls Obama saying that the good news is that Obama got the sense that the Arab states understand just how destabilizing a nuclear Iran would be -- a "game changer," Obama said -- because they know Israel would probably strike and that would be bad for everyone.
A senior adviser to Obama told ABC News that Obama was heartened to hear Jordan's King Abdullah share that view with him in their private meeting.
The Obama campaign had no comment.

More likely the Israeli Defense Minister is over here coordinating with high level US Secretaries and tying up loose ends should the strike be called for.
So the Magic Negro came to a conclusion that the everyday citizen knew months ago? How special for him.

I think the take away point is that Israel provided Obama with some classified information to see if he could be trusted; and he is not back more that a few days before he blabs it to the world. Who would ever trust this man in the future.
Just a few months ago, this vile POS, who wants to be our president was saying Iran wasn’t a real danger. Now he is agreeing with many others and including me. What he has left out is if he is elected, Israel will destroy Iran.

A former head of Mossad has warned that Israel has 12 months in which to destroy Iran’s nuclear programme or risk coming under nuclear attack itself. He also hinted that Israel might have to act sooner if Barack Obama wins the US presidential election.
Shabtai Shavit, an influential adviser to the Israeli parliament’s defence and foreign affairs committee, told The Sunday Telegraph that time was running out to prevent Iran’s leaders getting the bomb.
That view was echoed by Mr Shavit, who said: “If [Republican candidate John] McCain gets elected, he could really easily make a decision to go for it. If it’s Obama: no. My prediction is that he won’t go for it, at least not in his first term in the White House.”
He warned that while it would be preferable to have American support and participation in a strike on Iran, Israel will not be afraid to go it alone.
“When it comes to decisions that have to do with our national security and our own survival, at best we may update the Americans that we are intending or planning or going to do something. It’s not a precondition, [getting] an American agreement,” he said.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton believes Israel will stage a raid against Iran’s nuclear facilities if Democratic nominee Barack Obama wins the upcoming presidential election in November.
Bolton, often labeled a resolute neo-conservative, believes the Israeli attack would take place sometime between the day after Obama’s win and his inauguration on January 20 of next year.
In an interview with FOX News, Bolton says, “I think if they are to do anything, the most likely period is after our elections and before the inauguration of the next President.”
Bolton reasons Israel won’t be able to hold off a strike on Iran any longer than that given the Illinois senator’s intended foreign policy toward the Islamic Republic.
“I don’t think they [the Israeli government] will do anything before our election because they don’t want to affect it,” he says, adding, “They’d have to make a judgment whether to [strike] during the remainder of President Bush’s term in office or wait for his successor.”

The Obamination gets elected Potus, and it is January 20, 2009.
The Obamination has just said his version of being sworn in as Potus:

As the Obamination starts to speak, his Pentagon guy, Muhammed Ragshead, with the football tells the Obamination, that shorty after he was sworn in, Israel destroyed the political and military assets of Iran and Syria with over 40 nuclear weapons. The Mossad has also killed every al Queda leader in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Europe and America.
Also, Israeli leaders on world wide tv are showing and documenting the Obamination’s full Islamofascist connections and most of the rats in Congress. They have demanded the surrender of those members of Congress and the Obamination to Israel and Iraq for abetting the killing of innocent Israelis and Iranians by supporting Islamofascists.
George $oreA$$ and his family members and various phoney non profit leaders are in Israel at this time being tried as War Criminals. They are demanding that Obamination step down as president and surrender to the Israelis at Dulles International Aiport at the el Al booth for a one way trip to Israel for war crimes.
At this time GW gets up with Laura, and they wave goodbye to the Obamination and his Obamabots as GW and Laura leave for Texas.
