Daniel Gilyeat sauntered through the back door to the offices of Cycle Connections, an online motorcycle magazine, then paused and scratched his chin.
He was more than a little aware that a roomful of mechanics and Hooters employees on a Saturday afternoon meant something was up.
Danny, you need to come here, said sales manager Dave Miller. For all the things you do to keep us safe, we wanted to give you an opportunity to get back on the road.
Miller then turned to the mechanics.
Go ahead.
Without a word, they pulled a sheet off a sparkling deep blue and purple 1981 Ironhead Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Ah yes indeed it is, but so are all the "Daniel Gilyeat's"
Absolutely, they sure are.
Fighting men and women and their friends , families and patriots who support them is evidence that this country will never fall IMO.......
What? No pics?
There are rules on FR!
I am not a fan of network TV, but I did see the show last week and was very proud of this young man and his family. “ExTreme Makeover” did the right thing in honoring this war hero who has given so much to his country and family. God bless him and all the patriots who are giving so much for our country.
His was one of the few episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition I have seen.
It’s worth watching just for the respect given by members of the military when they retired his old flag pole to put up another.
God Bless Danny and so many others like him. THANK YOU for my freedom!
LOL, sorry. There is a pic and a video if you click on the link.
As long as we’re here to support them, and those like them, there is still HOPE. :-)
We owe them a debt we can never repay.
Pray for W and Our Awesome Troops
