As tributes to this fine man pour in from all over the world, Catholic Online offers our prayers to his family and our deepest condolences on their loss. Tony Snows heroism in fighting cancer was another sign of the character which informed his stellar career as well as his commitment to family.
In his address to the graduates of Catholic University he spoke these words:... But see, theres more. Once youve gotten past the mirror phase, then things begin to get really interesting. You begin to confront the truly overwhelming question: Why am I here? And that begins to open up the whole universe, because it impels you to think like the child staring out at the starry night: Who put the lights in the sky? Who put me here? Why?
And pretty soon you are thinking about God. Dont shrink from pondering Gods role in the universe or Christs. "

Prayer Ping for Tony Snow and his family.
Tony was just one thing, a fine human being. A very rare commodity in this day and age. He will have no problem at the pearly gates of heaven, all of those preceeding him will be thee to greet him.
God bless his family.
"This life is therefore, not righteousness, but growth in righteousness, not health, but healing, not being, but becoming, not rest, but exercise. We are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it, the process is not yet finished but it is going on, this is not the end, but it is the road. All does not yet gleam in glory, but all is being purified." Martin Luther, 1521
Rest in peace Tony
This kid is gonna miss the Snowman. What a class act he was. I remember a few years back I was lamenting (on FR) as to whether I should listen to Tony or Laura (they were on at the same time)......Tony responded to me asking me to try his show for a week. I did and never missed a show until he quit. God bless and comfort Jill and the kids. You will be missed Tony.......RIP.:(
Tony Snow is a very special spirit. God bless Tony Snow and his family and friends.
Condolences to his family
Just saw this on Drudge this morning.
Wow. Sad news.
RIP Tony.
I just got back from church where I said a prayer for him. He was a good man, and I pray that God will reward him for his courage in adversity and his decent and honorable conduct in a profession that has been overrun by liars and ideologues. He was one of the great exceptions.
Rest in peace.
RIP Tony Snow.
Aw Crap! This just plain stinks. Tony was headed towards better things and probably the one man I would have been really proud to have run this country. RIP. My Dad died earlier this year and this just hits too close to home. All my prayers to his family.
One of the few MSM folks that I thought was genuine. So Sorry to hear this news. Seemed like a great guy.
You will be missed.

Of course the photo of him at cnn.commie makes him look awful.
A fight well fought.
A race well run.
Now rest in peace, good son.
Oh, my!
One of the NICEST guys ever, too. Gonna miss him.
Rest in peace, Tony.
“Ours is not to reason why -———”
Tony now is free from his cancer. His spirit is healthy and will live forever. May his unique soul hold his family close and give them comfort.
Darn, I clicked on Catholic.org to find the rest of that speech and it said not available.
Then I went to Catholic.org on Clusty and it wouldn’t open.
I really wanted to read what he said in that speech.
God bless your soul, Tony. You are truly missed.
Thank you, Snowman, for your service to the nation...
Mort got better within a week.
Tony took care of those he respected and listened to his friends.
