First of all, PJ...you were RIGHT about the hidden seal
Many thanks to Texas Darlin and Greg Gelembiuk, but props to the GIMP development team (http://www.gimp.org/) for providing the software used to examine these images.
* QUESTION: Are there seals hidden from view on the "Certificate of Live Birth" images posted to (a) the Daily Kos. (b) BarackObama.com (aka "Fight the Smears") and/or (c) the two images posted on OPENDNA's PhotoBucket account?
* ANSWER: YES to (a), but a big, fat NO to (b) and (c)
Basically, I believe I put to rest a flurry of posts on the other blogs that are showing off an enhanced version of the Daily Kos image which reveals what appears to be a seal hidden from view.
PJ pointed this out to me. Without the use of any filters, PJ could see tghe ripples in the Kos image.
And, my response to finding the hidden seal is BIG WOOF!
As I mentioned earlier on, the State of Hawaii does not issue uncertified COLB's -- either you have a COLB that bears the embossed seal and signature block on it, or you have zilch.
Therefore, ergo, at some point in the creation of the first fake image, there had to have been an actual COLB or a copy of an actual COLB.
Either way, you cannot create a fake COLB from thin air. You have to start with something that is a copy of one.
Speaking of "zilch," that is exactly what Obama has provided to America to prove where, when and to whom he was born.
Obama does have some s'plainin' to do.
We've read his "Audacity of Hype."
We've read his "Schemes of my Birth Certificate."
Now, please Sen. Obama...

I hardly think Larry Johnson over at No Quarter or Texas Darlin could- by any stretch- be called right-wingers.
There are some hard-core Hillary supporters who are looking at Certigate at least as closely as we are.
If Obama wants to make us all look like fools by producing a documented certificate of his birth place and date- then so be it. I say- let him.
Meanwhile- anyone who’s not just the least bit curious what all the fuss is about hasn’t read up on this carefully. That’s fine. But there are some pretty bright, sane and grounded folks who are scratching their heads over this.

But tell me, given such an imagination of what could happen, what might happen, and how much everyone will laugh at us and call us fools, how do you ever get anything at all done? I mean, after all, there are many times when "someone else" is not going to be there to do it for you.

The point though- is to learn the facts- whether they clear Obama and his campaign or not.

There was segment about the father of digital image forensics, Dartmouth professor Hany Farid. He now works with Adobe in developing software to determine the certitude of documents such as these. He was on Nova science Now last night and would be the expert to contact imo. If his name has already been raised, pardon the redundancy. You can view the segment online at you know where, and it is VERY compelling.

It's precisely because that's how the left handles EVERY issue!
Every issue, big or small, is treated like a "gotcha" issue by the left. If a conservative brings it up, it's automatically "mean spirited", "petty" or "partisan".
The fact is, the qualifications for POTUS are in the Constitution! That makes this a BIG DEAL. If the left will ignore clearly defined restrictions on government offices, explicitly outlined in the Constitution, then what could they possibly care about any other so-called "bigger" issues?
Anyone who doesn't think that this is a critical issue isn't thinking, or they are hoping that we don't nail the Obamination on this issue. Or they want Obamination to win to teach dumb Americans another lesson like the 8 years of the Clintoons.
As you yourself state, quite correctly, there are a million issues to tackle. If everyone works on the same thing, only a few get covered. Expertise and passion vary, and people select the issues where they can contribute the most. It's how things get done.
Look, everyone has specialties, and different things ignite different people. It's very efficient, actually. The downside is that the efforts of others can seem wastes of time when compared to the urgency of our own pet causes. Fortunately, most of learn to co-exist. I'd hate to see the hospital where the neurologists or endocrinologists could demand that the orthopedists give it up and devote their time to the really important stuff.
Obama’s mamma is now dead and cannot object to a review of her passport records. Her passport record will indicate when she came back to the U.S. and any minor child that accompanied her at that time. BINGO
Here is a solution.
Post an article or advertise in every area hospital, city , state or country where it is suspected BHO was born.
Offer: “ $5,000 reward to any person who can legally attest to claim they attended the birth of the wanna-bee USA president.”
I’m actually not entirely joking, time is money, and the time spent examining the BC, which could have been faked or negoitated for his benefit 46 years ago is not going to prove a thing. Get some eye-witnesses that will swear to the event and then the truth will be told. Or still not!

Time is money, and the time spent examining the web-BC is lost by so many. Besides, even it appeared not to have been faked last year or last month, there are multiple reasons and scenarios that indicate that it would have beneficial to have done so over the past 46 years. If the birth was initially misreported, a current BC on file will prove absolutely nothing.
A search for eye-witnesses is needed that will swear to the event (nurses, doctor, hospital staff, siblings, or Grandma) and then the truth will be told. Or, then again, maybe not!
If nothing else, a search for the truth guarantees a three-ring circus of claimants, willing to swear upon stacks of the koran or Holy Bible to collect their prize!!!
