It’s OK, he’s a liberal and everyone knows they only have to obey the laws they like...

Does anyone still make single shot pistols?
Muzzle-loaders?
I think “semi-automatic” is a description of every pistol in existence.

I’m sure he has not a clue what “semi-automatic” means.

Yep. He's inviting a lawsuit. A right means nothing if it cannot be effectively exercised. I don't think DC Thug Fenty still grasps what an individual right means. He will learn it soon enough.

It’s one thing to SAY SO, it’s another to enforce it- I think the SCOTUS just made that harder to do.
WOO HOO- If Obama had appointed some judges this would have gone the other way

A revolver may not be technically a semi-automatic. The force of the shell doesn’t cause the re-load, the pull of the finger does.
Not that Libs should be allowed to split hairs like that.

Mmmkay...I can't think of too many handguns that aren't "semi-automatic".
My .357 revolver is "semi-automatic".
What's this bozo talking about?

Doesn't that directly contravene this morning's ruling?Assuming semi auto hand guns qualify for 'common use', then Yes.

If I was a cop or a judge or a prosecutor in DC right now, I’d tread very very lightly on doing anything to arrest or convict someone.
They can be individually and collectively sued for violating a persons civil rights.

Lets do the same with the first amendment too. Single speeches are protected but not multiple political speeches.

He probably doesn’t even know what the hell a semi automatic weapon is, and doesn’t even know what in the hell SCOTUS ruled today.

Yep. The Man’s rules don’t apply in Chocolate City North. Remember, this is a city that still thinks Marion Barry is the best mayor they ever had.

He’s a moron. He doesn’t know the difference between automatic and semi auto and my guess is he’s never sent a round down range in his life.

He'd have a hard time squaring that prohibition with:
We also recognize another important limitation on the right to keep and carry arms. Miller said, as we have explained, that the sorts of weapons protected were those in common use at the time. 307 U. S., at 179. We think that limitation is fairly supported by the historical tradition of prohibiting the carrying of dangerous and unusual weapons.
Just about any handgun is semi-automatic, revolvers included, when you define semi-automatic as removing the need to physically operate a bolt-type mechanism between trigger pulls.
