I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag that is a “Single Action.” While I can fire six shots in about two seconds, it’s definitely not a semi-automatic weapon.

While a revolver doesn't qualify as a “semiautomatic” I agree with your point that there is little practical difference between a (semi) automatic pistol and a revolver in that either can get several shots off rather quickly.
