We have reason to believe this ruling will be both historic and positive, IMO.

What’s driving up the price of ammo?
Inflation (weak dollar).
Ammo, gold, and gas are all much more expensive than a year or two ago.

Well, Ive been a long time lurker but I decided to finally come out of the shadows and post. Hopefully my first post will be in a thread that is an epic win for the constitution and the rights of American citizens.
HOPEFULLY!
We will soon see what rights the men in black say we have. Welcome to FR!

I pray you are right. I hope to see a strong ruling affirming the lower court ruling and expanded upon to incorporate and mandate strict scrutiny.
I fear that anything short of this will lead to war.

That was the Solicitor General. He resigned to go back to Georgetown, where he was a senior fellow before joining the administration.
This isn’t uncommon, particularly with Bush leaving office in a few months.

"We have reason to believe this ruling will be both historic and positive, IMO."Oh, how I hope you are correct! If not, this will be a very tragic day. Personally, I expect a somewhat mixed decision that will result in both sides being able to spin it as a victory.
Now, I'm going to get back to refreshing Drudge and FR every 2 seconds. lol

If it goes the other way, I will definitely be in that march on DC, but I’m optimistic.

For those of y’all who haven’t followed this stuff at SCOTUS blog before, the Court will start releasing it’s opinions right after 10:00. We should know if it’s a win or not a few minutes after. We should also know at that point whether it was an affirmation or reversal and who wrote the majority opinion.
We won’t know the details of the ruling until the lawyers can grab a copy, which will probably be posted 10:15-10:30.
