Barack won’t be making the “Dukakis Mistake”.
But leaving a live baby on the abortionist's table to die is okay. Wonder how long it screams.
“Barack Obama says he disagrees with a Supreme Court decision striking down the death penalty for child rapists, telling reporters Wednesday that states should be able to execute people for heinous crimes.”
I’m guessing suicide bombings would not meet his definition of “heinous.”
In fairness, it doesn’t mean he supports the executions themselves, but rather he believes that it is within the states’ constitutional rights to allow them. The argument present in this case was whether or not states are in line with the Constitution when it comes to using the death penalty for child rape. Four justices got it right, and argued that it is within the states’ rights to do so.
Wasn’t he against the death penalty for gang members who kill when he was a state senator? Personally, I think the death penalty should only be used for murder. Executing a child rapist may encourage them to kill their victims to cover up the crime.
Only if the child-rapist is bitter, clinging to guns and/or religion.
But abortion is okay....Doesn’t fit!!
The death penalty for a successful suicide bomber is a little tough to implement. Although I suppose you could electrocute the bag of body parts.
This must be a joke. His record on crime issues has been totally abysmal. Now all of a sudden he is tough on crime? Maybe this isn’t so surprising as he certainly supports execution for the unborn and babies who survive abortion.
Of course he does. But under Sharia law, the victim is the one who is punished unless proven innocent.
Obama a states’ rights advocate?
Just thinking,,Does Christ support the death penalty.?
Because he needs the women’s vote and this is his way of showing his support to them.
Where’s the media outrage???
Could obamas stance have been guided by todays news on Fox ?
A Massachusetts politician and defense attorney has touched off a firestorm with his shocking public vow to torment and “rip apart” child rape victims who take the witness stand if the state legislature passed stiff mandatory sentences for child sex offenders.
Rep. James Fagan, a Democrat, made the comments during debate last month on the state House floor.
Obama, agreeing with Rush Limbaugh, today opposed the SCOTUS decision...
Only if there is somebody around to “cast the first stone”.
“Just thinking,,Does Christ support the death penalty.?”
Well, I’m not good for being able to quote too many bible verses but I do remember the one where he said that anyone who would corrupt (or in some bibles ....offend) “little ones” should sooner have a millstone thrown around their neck and be cast into the sea. So, I’m thinking being cast into the sea would be a form of the death penalty.
Moses could have cast that stone.Being a Righteous Man.
