Law Enforcement Conduct Early Morning Raid on Baltimore Mayor's Home

Anti-gun Mayor Sheila Dixon (Baltimore) was awakened at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17 by investigators with the state’s prosecutor’s office. Seven hours after the raid, they left carrying boxes, folders, and a blue cooler. For over two years, state prosecutors have been investigating Mayor Dixon’s questionable financial dealings during her time as the City Council’s President between 1999 and 2007.
Mayor Dixon, who has called for broad restrictions on the rights of law-abiding gun owners, is a member of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group "Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns."
