I'd like to have a few more years than did Russert.A lot more years,in fact. And I'd like some warning....so I could mend any fences that might need mending and to try to tie up loose ends. Particularly with my Creator.

I understand your point of view too. I'm not in any hurry to exit the stage yet either. But if I HAVE to go, I'd just as soon go fast and sudden.

You made us angry, but you became pretty good at political analysis during this hellish election cycle. There were times I wanted to strangle you and times - more of them lately - that I found myself agreeing with you. Mostly, we just agreed to disagree.

Shame you were called back just when you seemed to be gaining some wisdom from the experience you've gained, but you haven't been looking any too healthy and also awfully tired of late and I've been wondering about your health. You'll be missed, even by those of us on the other side of the aisle. Rest in peace, sir.

Every year for the past 20, my husband has done Christmas trees for a local tree farmer and Dittohead (who lost his wife this year). When my son turned 12, he wanted to try and do trees, and as a strong young man who needed a father figure, we let him.

Hubby is also an EMT.

That year, a 38 year-old man asked to be hired on (it's extra money for Christmas). So no problem. He was on the (tractor) trailer helping to get the trees loaded when he had a massive. So my son's first experience with death was holding the man's head on his lap while Hubby and the one other EMT took turned doing CPR. He died in the ALS vehicle en route to the cardiac care unit.

I was worried because they were so late coming home - they didn't get home until after 11:00. They managed to get the story out - took a while - while trying to get out of their layers of wet clothes.

My son discovered he still had the man's false teeth in his pocket. They were, of course, given back to the family before the funeral. Turned out he had been diagnosed with severe heart problems and was just...bored, pushing the envelope, didn't want to slow down, gambling...and he lost.

"If Hillary is indeed out of the picture, IMHO, I doubt she has stopped thinking about it and sincerely blaming and ferociously causing harm to those who she might feel aided or abetted in her less than stellar performance."

But Tim was supporting Hillary. I find the infamous Clinton MO to be a little hard to believe at this time.

It was Russert who in, October 31, 2007  Philadelphia, asked Hillary , "Do you . . . support your governor's plan to give an illegal immigrant a driver's license?"  It was Hillary's first big trip up. "She stumbled badly at last night's Democratic debate when she repeatedly refused to give a direct answer on both sides of the issue" answer seemed to evolve into the first snag in her 'presidential destiny'. The Clinton's harshly criticized Russert, afterwards. It was down hill for Hillary from there. Read more of what Clinton's supporters thought about many of Russert's questions from that debate here. (Isn't it odd that Spitzer was also brought down by what was an obvious set up?)

Then remember her reference to Bobbie Kennedy's assassination, and implication that the same might happen to Obama, that was a basic mind control type call for Obama's assignation, using a classic advertising subliminal technique which is translated in a vulnerable mind as a call for a hit on Senator Obama's life.

She publicly announced that she now has an enemies list. "Those Loyal to the Clintons Take Note of Those Who Were Not" By Mark Leibovich Published: June 11, 2008

For proof, look no further than Doug Band, chief gatekeeper to former President Bill Clinton.

Band keeps close track of the past allies and beneficiaries of the Clintons who supported Obama's campaign, three Clinton associates and campaign officials said. Indeed, he is widely known as a member of the Clinton inner circle whose memory is particularly acute on the matter of who has been there for the couple - and who has not.

If there’s no CLEO who wants to sign your letter of approval, you could always incorporate and avoid that requirement...

There’s lots of different CLEO’s that can sign.

I used to be a CIII dealer but we never had a problem getting CLEO sign-offs.

The bottom line is 99.5% of the planet wouldn't have known Mr. Russert if he sat next to them.

We should mourn his death no more or less than any other individual.

Dear God, We ask for comfort for Mr. Russert's family during this time of shock and mourning. We pray that Tim had the assurance of Your beautiful gift of salvation, Lord, and ask that Your perfect peace would enfold all those who knew and loved him. Thank You for this kindly man and the many lives he touched. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

May he rest in peace. He was the ONLY liberal pundit I cared to watch, he was very knowledgable and fair to all. A good man and a very likeable man. He will be missed especially during this election. He is in my prayers as is his family. Those that make horrible comments on this event should be ashamed of yourselves. This man was well respected even by Republicans.
