God bless his family.
He was a liberal, but actually tried to be fair in his job. NBC news now has nothing that resembles integrity.

DANG....
Although he was the fairest of the Drive By MSM...he was still very left leaning in his reporting....
All that aside, God Bless his family in this terrible time. RIP Tim Russert.

Tim was 58, overweight and diabetic. Rush is 57,overweight, a smoker and by his own admission hates exercise. Prayers for the Russert family. But I will also pray to God to protect Rush and keep him in good health for a loooong time.
Rush, please, please, please, get regular checks up done. Given your lifestyle that's the least you could do for yourself and for us. God bless.

He did a great job moderating the 1996 presidential debates - good enough that Al Gore refused to have him as moderator in 2000. RIP, sir.

Tim Russert was one of the few intellectually honest liberals who would ask hard questions of Rats.Of that bunch, he was one of the best. Rest In Peace, Mr. Russert, and prayers for your loved ones.
Now let the conspiracy theories commence.

God Bless his soul, and condolences to his family and friends.
He seemed to be one of those ‘high blood pressure’ types.
Whether anyone consider his contributions to the media, to our world, positive, or negative, at least he will be remembered.
Which is more than many can say.
If I ‘drank’, I’d pop one open in his honor, at least he’s out of the rat race.
Good Luck, wherever you are, Tim!

Oh man, this is horrible. One of the few MSM types I had respect for, and it was a deep respect because he could be a nightmare interviewer for any purveyor of Washington bullcrap.
I know some of the pain this family is feeling. My uncle suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 54 on Sunday, and died from injuries in a car accident that resulted from it. My aunt was also badly injured, with 12 broken ribs and internal damage. Fortunately, she is trying her best to fight on.

After hearing him say "The role of the press is to hold this administraion accountable" a couple years ago, I personally lost all respect for a man I once thought of as about the only objective journalist left.
Keith Olberman will no doubt come on MSNBC tonight in contrived sackcloth and ashes, and gin up some way to blame Bush.

Tim Russert-— Overweight overworked, he was just working too hard, he was addicted to politics
He just got back from a quick vacation from Italy. My guess is some feasting in Italy pushed his underlying condition into the red zone and killed him. What a shame. He was fairly honest and straight forward

Prayers up for his family and friends. I didn't agree with his politics but he was far too young to die.
God Bless You Tim...

Yeah, same here. I think he was an essentially fair guy. This is probably good news to Keith Olbermann. Russert, who was 10,000 times the man as Olbermann, was onto this monumental fraud. Olbermann is the vilest idiot on TV today.

I haven’t watched Mr. Russert in quite some time, due to my dislike for his “reportage”. But this is a shock and is very sad. He was well loved and respected across the journalistic community, and I’m certain his son and wife are devastated. May he rest in peace.
