Tim Russert, NBC journalist and political heavyweight host of "Meet the Press," has died after collapsing at NBC's Washington news bureau, a source said. He was 58 years old.
Quitting that high stress job just might be the reason that your hubby DOES live to see that Grandson in August! I’ll keep him in my prayers, and hope he finds some work that he will enjoy, but doesn’t cause him ill health.
Those at DU are despicable. I sure hope O’Reilly mentions this on his show.
Things happen in June..., Hillary Rodham Clinton
Mmmmm...I hadn’t thought of that statement.
Get out the pointy aluminum foil hats.
Where did Tim eat lunch today and with whom?
‘Tis said he was best friends with Carville.
They are all responding too one interview with Cheney. Does that wipe out everything else he said, does, acts, leads others to say, about conservatives, the military, Bush?
They would go nuts and say the most evil vile things. Wouldn't make it right.
Very sad news. What a loss for the world, and especially for his family. Prayers for his family and friends.
Daily KOS? Wow!
Someone should send Huffington a note to go check the hate speech at KOS.
Prayers to the Russert family.
You are on the side of the liberals over at Daily Kos and Democrat Underground in your hatred of Tim Russert. Good company you are keeping there.
That hateful reaction is very odd.
Russert was extremely liberal.
I guess if you are not a “pure” liberal (e.g., Lieberman), you deserve to die, according to liberals.
I have no idea if this actually works or not, but some people swear by it. Google “chelation” or “chelation therapy”. I’d give it a try if I were him.
A question for you then. Would you have considered Moynihan extremely liberal?
That is precisely what differentiates us from them. Ironic isn't it? So how about it? Are we intellectually honest and compassionate or are we tit-for-tat vitriolic posters that want pre-emtptive vengeance on our political foes?
As we see here in this thread, most of us are the former.
Tim may have been famous, but he never forgot his roots here in upstate NY. He was a down to earth person - and honest. I am totally devastated.
I don’t keep company with liberals or socialists. Say what you might, it doesn’t change my mind about the enemy. I consider dimocrats the enemy of this Republic. If you like them, have at it. I don’t.
I’m glad he’s gone... but sad he’s dead.
Sadly ironic, his newest and now last book came out about readers letters and e-mails about their fathers called “Wisdom” Of Our Fathers”.
Tim was one of the nicer guys on MSM. May he rest in peace.
You are keeping company with them. Look at what they say and look at what you say. It’s the same. Sorry.
