Vanity: Tipping Point Against McCain

I was going to put on the gas mask and pull the lever for McCain this November but events of the past few days have led me not to vote for him.
1: McCain speaking at the racist, reconquista La Raza conference. 2: McCain still opposed to drilling in ANWR and comparing it to drilling in the Grand Canyon despite $4 + and climbing gas prices. Accoring to NRO Corner when asked about this he seemed peeved someone would have the audacity to ask him that question. 3: McCain giving veto power to coastal states on offshore drilling. The US owns these waters not the states. 4: McCain seemingly on board supporting windfall profits taxes and making a fascist statement that the government has the right to tell oil companies how they should invest in their money.
To be totally honest I live in CA where Obama is going to crush McCain but this will be the first time I do not vote for the GOP candidate for POTUS.

The problem for McCain. His leftist views on energy, global warming and immigration got him the adoration of the leftist media for the last 10 years. It even got him the endorsement of the NY Times for the republican nomination in March. He would not want to lose that worshipful audience. They surely will come to his rescue in November and give him the presidency. I am sure that is what he believes.
I hear for a fact that he believes that ignorant republican conservatives will just as a matter or course cast their ballot for him regardless of the contempt he has for them and their views.

So you continue to KNOWINGLY support evil? Either of those two candidates is EVIL and NEITHER deserves support or votes. Evil begets evil and rewarding it gets you MORE of it. Supporting McCain despite his record means that the Pubbie Party will continue to serve up evil candidates; it will learn NOTHING, except that people like you will always rationalize voting for more evil if it wears that magical (R) talisman.
ALL of you McLame supporters need to sit down and do a very thorough re-evaluation of your candidate and ask yourselves the musical question, “Do I REALLY want more evil in my life, just because he’s in MY party?” Please do not inflict John McLame on the rest of the country. Osama Obama’s just as bad and I’ll pass on voting for him, as well. I’ll leave it blank, vote third party or write-in my candidate (in no particular order) but I will NOT waste my vote on evil, lesser or greater.

McCain for a windfall profits tax is baloney. He’s just trying to win over soft Hillary supporters. Why believe everything you hear?

A vote for McCain will destroy the GOP. But a vote for Obama will destroy the USA.
Close. Change A to "A vote for McCain will destroy the USA and the GOP." That's how you make it fit many of us that will not vote for McCain. I won't make a difference here in Tennessee anyway. McCain will lose here anyway.

A vote against McCain is a vote for Marxist revolutionary NObamas and if my house is on fire I'm not fretting the toilet leak.

The two biggest boosters of the Albanian muslim takeover in Kosovo was Clinton and McCain. He encouraged Clinton all the way in allying our nation to the Albanian muslims and their A Q allies.

My “tipping point” against McCain happened long before he was ever even nominated.
I’m sorry, but as a conservative I think a McCain victory in November will be a disaster for the entire conservative movement. It will tell the RNC that they can now take the right for granted and diss them at will.

“What’s more important? Your principles or supporting the troops? Vote McCain!”
My principles. I am looking at the Constitution and the WHOLE Republic. You “people” are too caught up in wielding power to care one whit about the supreme law of the land.

I'm curious...if you can tell me. Why is "Mookie" still sucking perfectly good air? Why is the SOB still living, and breathing? Why is he permitted to live?
Ditto for that Cuban SOB 90 miles southeast of FL on that tiny dot of an island. How about that sawed off little leftist down in Venezuela?
Why?
Winning a war involves issuing forth enough violence to make the enemy want to cease from violence. You know this. You must.
Don't insinuate that McCain is the man who's going to make the War in Iraq "all better", or even a little bit better. His record shows that he's not likely to do anything that conservatives would hope for.
Nobody from America will be permitted to "win" that war. The people won't allow it. The American public won't allow it! But not for reasons that you might think. They won't allow it because too many of them are too fat, and too lazy, and too used to living on credit, and pulling cash from the ATM, and having "stuff" and lots of it and having it NOW. They're shortsighted, lazy and cowardly. They lack the intestinal fortitude, commitment, and insight that would even permit them to consciously approve of a 15 or 20 year plan for a country in the current condition of Iraq.
But five years is about the limit of their forgetful, fat, easy to appease, dull brains. They can comprehend five years. But five years isn't enough. You know this. Strategists and planners who know how to rebuild countries in a condition such as Iraq know these things. But they get no attention from the MSM, or (strangely enough) the U.S. State Department. But somehow, the amazingly unbelievable notion that Iraq will be "normal" in five years has gotten through to the American citizen at large, and anybody who doesn't support "The War in Iraq" is somehow less than a good citizen in all political circles here in America.
So before asking if anybody wants to "win" the war in Iraq, be honest with yourself and consider whether it's even feasible with the shift we've seen in this nation over the last 50 years. Is it possible that we definitively win ANY war ANYWHERE these days? I say as long as politicians run the battlefield instead of Generals, that it is NOT possible!
We should have "CONQUERED" Iraq....let the USMC permanently fly our flag over its soil, seized its oil wells for our own use, and then blatantly and generously shared our military presence there with the IDF and IAF, and let the rest of those hostile nations bordering KNOW that their day was coming!
But we did not. Instead, we have reduced ourselves to the current low state of debating on-line about some RINO presidential wannabe and the merits of how he's going to help win The War in Iraq.
How sad.

You express your self much more eloquently that I could.
Thanks! Any kind word I get around here these days is a plus! It depresses me writing about this. The only reason I do it is because I hate the outright lie that McCain is any better the the alternatives.

Can I get that on a coffee mug? How about some RNC toilet paper?

Tancredo, Hunter, and Thompson have all endorsed McCain. Who was your candidate again? Politicians have to do that "for the party." I do not have to vote for an evil man simply because my (former now) party served him up. If I do not draw the line here with the hideous McCain, where do I draw it? I suppose when the Republicans nominate Charles Manson and the Democrats Josef Stalin.
