I run a one man courier business.
If I were to charge my customers only enough to cover the price of gas, vehicle maintenance
and the taxes bled from me to support, in large part, destructive left-wing social programs,
how would I be able to eat, shelter and cloth myself?

I use my profit for doing that.
The small amount that is sometimes left over goes to saving for my old age
and the occasional treating of myself, my kids and grandkids.

If you yourself work
and are living in anything other than slave's quarters,
wearing anything other than slave's clothes
and eating anything other than slave's food
then you too are "stealing" more than what it cost to provide your service.

The ignorance and know-it-all-ism that you exhibit makes me feel sad for you.

Also, in a Capitalistic system, the consumer makes the choices, the businesses only provide the product and service, and no one is holding a gun to their head to buy the product or service.
That is why it is called " FREE MARKET SYSTEM " .
When the consumer agrees to buy a product, has thought it over, checked other sales of the same product, and comes to a conclusion that the same product or service at a certain store or business is cheaper or has the same quality of service, then, they will agree with the service or product provider to buy it.
Then they and go into a contract that they both agree on... in some cases, it's called a sales contract, in other cases , it's just a sales receipt, but, the costumer agreed to but that product or service at that certain price.
That system works, and that is the beauty of that system, it's a free market system.
If we go to a communistic system, there will be more of a great disparity or gulf between the rich ( rich wealthy communist ruling leaders, stolen goods and money from the poor by the elitist communist leaders ) and poor, shortages beyond what the worse we have ever seen even with a free market system, and poor quality of goods and services.
There will not be a middle class with a communist system, there will only be the wealthy communist ruling elitist leadership, and THE POOR.
What kind of fairness and equality is in that ? NYET !!!
At least with a free market ( Capitalistic system ) the poor have the opportunity to move up and better themselves.
