The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee cited the largest monthly increase in the unemployment rate in over 20 years, and record highs in oil prices, food prices and foreclosures.

Such relief can't wait until the next president takes office. ... That's why I've called for another round of fiscal stimulus, an immediate $50 billion to help those who've been hit hardest by this economic downturn," Obama told a crowd in Raleigh, N.C.
More welfare anyone.

Going to the Chinese and Arabs, hat in hand, to beg for some loans to try to bribe us (please don't pay attention to the interest bill you have to pay for the rest of your life and your children's lives too).
If you want to get the economy going take the current tax code, set it on fire and replace it with either a flat tax or the Fair Tax. Then drill for some oil.

Oh yeah that would be great for the dollar value. How about a return of the tax money to the tax payers. That might be a good start..

Expecting this will actually result in a net improvement in the economy is like expecting to raise the level of your swimming pool by taking water from the shallow end and pouring it in the deep end.
Indeed, the people who suggest that government can “stimulate” the economy by printing more money either know exactly what they are really doing or they are ignorant: printing fiat money that is then “borrowed into circulation”, is in effect counterfeiting private wealth. It is theft on a scale more massive than anything in human history, especially went combined with the progressive income and capital gains tax.

We could make solving our energy crisis a priority. It is the root cause of the economic slowdown.

“
Obama: Give economy $50 billion boost” How much more money does Obama want the US government to borrow from the Chinese in the form of selling US Government bonds to them?

Barack Hussein Obama is the apex of the hate-America, domestic enemy in this country. His election as president would be the greatest coup any enemy has ever scored against this country and could easily lead to the worst, horrific disaster in our nation's history.
