Bad stuff, that oxy.

Ekasala, Grossberg said yesterday, has himself been asked to cooperate by federal agents, but he has repeatedly rejected their proposal. “He is not cooperating,” Grossberg said.
Probably prefers to stay alive!
And 100 pills every few days? At almost $40 per pill? Really now!

At each of the three transactions, Kaczur paid $3,900 in cash to buy 100 OxyContin pills
Good grief! Is this stuff really that expensive? Unbelievable.

"But the Commish will give the Pats a pass... AGAIN."
I read an article recently that mentioned a stat.."95% of NFL fans despise the Patriots."
Evidently there is some truth to that. It is too bad that the pursuit of excellence is so reviled by so many. Commentary on society as a whole it seems as well.
An individual player dealing/using drugs is hardly a reason to punish a team.

I have to laugh at the article. It presents that all this happened as if it were facts, then puts the denial of the party involved much lower in the story.

Kaczur paid $3,900 in cash to buy 100 OxyContin pills, a potent prescription pain reliever.
I have a bad back and my Doctor gave me a prescription to this stuff,I did not like how it upset my (ever expanding) tummy so asked to be switched to hydrocodeine---You tellin' me I could sell those things for almost 4 grand? Wow--of course I would end up getting busted with my luck.....

I had a bad experience from a gum cleaning - too painful for words, so they gave me oxy-cotin - it did nothing for me. When I had a cesarean-section, they gave me percocet and that sent me into loopy-overdrive!!!!!! Percocet is very powerful, beware./Just Asking - seoul62........

40 bucks a pill, JEEZ!!!
And they call this stuff Redneck Heroin?
I’d just as well go for the real thing and save some cash.
mt GF just recently hired a sweet young woman for her office.
Well, A co-worker recently introduced her to some low life.
Now sweet young Holly is addicted to snorting Oxy.
Nice.
My buddy spent a few days in the local lock-up for an DWI. He said the entire jail is full of Oxy/Heroin users.
The rest were restraining order violations.

Maybe the pain of ending up 18-1 was just too much for him and drove him to drugs.

Goodall recently instated a policy that punished the team for a player’s illegal activity. At least that’s the last I had read.

“95% of NFL fans despise the Patriots.””
I’m amazed at it, but then a remembrance of the old Yankees’ monopoly on baseball crowns made me realize that that’s how people are. The more pennants the Yankees won, the more people hated them.
And General Motors in its heyday was hated and persecuted and prosecuted for its success.
