I read an article recently that mentioned a stat.."95% of NFL fans despise the Patriots."
Evidently there is some truth to that. It is too bad that the pursuit of excellence is so reviled by so many. Commentary on society as a whole it seems as well.
An individual player dealing/using drugs is hardly a reason to punish a team.
Ummm, maybe it has to do with the fact that they are cheating snitches and that their fans are whiney, obnoxious and don't know how to talk right?
Goodall recently instated a policy that punished the team for a player’s illegal activity. At least that’s the last I had read.

I’m amazed at it, but then a remembrance of the old Yankees’ monopoly on baseball crowns made me realize that that’s how people are. The more pennants the Yankees won, the more people hated them.
And General Motors in its heyday was hated and persecuted and prosecuted for its success.
