Today is Sunday, June 1st and the Puerto Rico primary voting takes place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. ET.
Welcome to the only forum on the web in the mainland United States (that I know of!) monitoring LIVE all the details, voting, exit polling and results for todays Puerto Rico Democratic primary! Many thanks to Jim Robinson and all of you at FreeRepublic.com for your support!
Will Hillarys popular vote tally move up substantially after todays primary? After all, there are over 2 million Puerto Ricans eligible to vote, and theres usually an 80-85% percent voting turnout on the island during different elections. Will this primary define whether she stays .. or whether she says Sayonara!? As Yogi Berra once said: Its not over until the fat lady sings, right?
Join us LIVE as we follow the islands news media and other outlets. Also, our deepest thanks to our main source in Puerto Rico, Freeper cll, for his input, analysis and important information throughout the past few weeks. We will be getting analysis and other tidbits of information straight from his mouth today, as well as from the mouths of other island residents who might join us later.
According to the Puerto Rican media, CNN will be the only network to have access to exit polling. The network decided to foot the entire bill, which will run in the neighborhood of $100,000, after its National Election Pool partners initially decided against splitting the costs.

There was an invitation only Republican caucus in Feb.
She could get more Puerto Rican and Dominican constiuents (Dominicans are also concerned about the status of Puerto Rico because so many of them live on the island) in New York to vote for her in November because a) she’s promised in various occasions that she will resolve the issue of the status of Puerto Rico during her first term and b) she’s actually *promised* to take part in an effort to allow Puerto Ricans to vote in the general election. If not Nov. 2008, perhaps Nov. 2010 or 2012.
My grandmother says the electricity went out where she lives at (Puerta de Tierra) earlier today, for about 2 hours. How about where you live?

EXIT POLLING CONDUCTED EXCLUSIVELY BY CNN AT SOME SAN JUAN POLLING PLACES INDICATE THAT THINGS DO NOT LOOK GOOD FOR CLINTON.
REPEAT: THINGS DO NOT LOOK GOOD FOR SENATOR CLINTON.
Dear Mods,
Important information on exit polling (read post #56) is coming in from Puerto Rico. Is there any way that this thread might be placed first in the ‘Breaking News’ section, at least until 4:00 p.m. ET?
Many thanks!
Silvie

Evita!
This may be a case of pro Obama CNN trying to suppress the Hillary turnout in PR.
But I certainly hope that Clinton doesn't get the big turnout and I certainly hope that Hillary doesn't get the large margin of victory in PR.
