What Obama's campaign released via first link above states he served in the Infantry. I assume it's possible the records are wrong, or he changed branches. But I'm unaware of that as a standard practice. Perhaps it happened during WWII for manpower reasons? Otherwise, Obama's Great Uncle would seem to have done most of his marching and liberating while at sea.

Yes, but as someone else pointed out, Charles E. Payne happens to be from the same small Kansas town that his Grandmother is from. So it makes more sense that the Obama campaign screwed up even his great uncles middle initial.

I’ll give them that. But so far, that only shows he was in the Army. And also pointed out, the 89th ID did not liberate Buchenwald either, but Ordruff, and that was only a small unit of the 89th. So there is still plenty to research and hit Obama with.

That is because you are behind on the story. Obama corrected his first lie about Aushwitz by explaining he meant Buchenwald. You see Obama gets about three chances to correct a lie before the media starts to call him on it. An LA Times story concluded that it is the GOP who should actually be the one's who are ashamed for trying to politicize this.

2. Obama's lie about how if he HAD heard such things he would leave that church.
3. Obama's lie about his grandmother being a typical white woman who admitted to being afraid of black MEN in the street, when he wrote in HID BOOK that she had been frightened of a black MAN, who was menacing her in the street.
4. Obama's lie about not having a relationship with Rezko.
5. Obama's repeated lie about suddenly loving his country.
6. Obama's occasional lies about writing legislation that, in fact, he had nothing to do with...

I'm sure I'm forgetting some lies. Suffice it to say that he makes Algore look almost honest by comparison.
