Taser International pink and leopard-print stun guns are displayed at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Americans can legally use the devices in most states.

Oh yeah, that's great. Just great. Cop victim groups and communist groups think tasers might be used against women or cops. They don't think the public should be allowed to own non-lethal stun guns.
So what's next, cop victims and communists? Maybe we should ban men from testifying in court, because they might speak against someone in an interest group? Because they might rape someone, no matter whether they have done so, or because cops are somehow "outgunned"?
The natural law remains the same. Don't rape or kill or rob and you will be OK. If you do, you may be killed or tasered. Molon labe.

"This incident raises the question of who exactly is getting the personal Taser and how it's being used, and misused," said Dalia Hashad of Amnesty International USA. The group is not particularly concerned about women buying them for personal protection, but rather who is acquiring them with ulterior motives. The devices can be used in domestic disputes, or to attack and disable women from up to 4.5 metres away so they can be abducted or raped, Ms. Hashad said. How many bodyguards do you have ,you elitist snob?

More liberal hysteria, hype and lust to take away every right you have to protect yourself against everything from felonious criminals to oppressive government. Welcome to socialism — the removal of all rights within the people, because RIGHTS REPRESENT POWER and people are not allowed to have POWER under a socialist regime.

Ya, I know what you’re saying, but this could be bigger in the near future. When they’re equipped with an MP3 player and come in a tiger-skin print, people won’t think of them as lethal and thus will have less reluctance to use them - ergo more incidents.
You don’t see a Glock or a Magnum in a tigerskin print.

Dalia Hashad? Is she a member of TROP?

Tomorrow the drumbeat will start from different papers around the country. Next week serious people with the ability to make serious faces will be nodding to each other on CNN, Fox and the rest.

Why shouldn’t private citizens own them? The police all say that they are harmless.

About 20 years ago Washington DC banned Mace/Pepper Spray because it was used in a few muggings.
The bad guys quickly adapted, learning that the cute little baby cans of EZ-OFF oven cleaner worked just as well when it came to disabling a potential victim in order to snatch their purse or wallet. Sucked worse than Mace/Pepper Spray for the victims, however, as they were the ones stuck with major chemical burns to the face and permanent blindness.
The ban only lasted a few years, it was actually quite surprising for the DC City Council to realize just how wrong they'd gotten it.

She has an "interesting" bio...
"Dalia Hashad is Amnesty International’s Director of the USA Program focusing on Domestic Human Rights. She works on a wide variety of issues including the War on Terror, Prison Conditions and Police Misconduct. Previously, Dalia was an Attorney Advocate for the ACLU focusing on civil liberties and human rights abuses post-9/11. Dalia has also worked in the Occupied Palestinian Territories as a human rights legal advisor."

You dont see a Glock or a Magnum in a tigerskin print. I wouldn't be to sure of that. I have seen them in every color under the sun including one looked like it had been tie dyed.
