Have to finish an editing project. Hopefully more in the wings — I need $$$.
Do hope to relax, though — curl up with a cheap novel. Gotta start summer with a few perks. Too much work & not enough play makes me a bad girl.

That’s good. Hope you get a nice cleansing rain for the land. My day went well. Got outside and walked some. Me getting motivated to walk further is what needs to happen. (on a daily basis!)
I have a friend online, who is a church of Christ preacher in Louisiana. 2 nights ago his 18 yr old son was killed in a car accident. Freak accident. If you could remember my friend in your prayers I would really appreciate it. My friend and Brother in Christ’s name is John Dobbs.
Here’s the article in the news about his son’s accident:

Thanks Kathy!

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning
Thank you, Ma , for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
DC Metroland weather report
~ Today.... Plentiful sunshine. High 74F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
~ Tonight....Partly cloudy. Low 53F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.
WOW! No rain predicted for tomorrow either! Three whole days without rain. And, so far no rain on Monday, either.
Not that it matters. No plans at the time. Mr. Beachy and I are talking about maybe going to see a couple of the new movies on Monday while he's off, too.
But I'll be here first thing on Monday
Now, since today is the first day of my so-called vacation I am going to run out to the nearest coffee shop and get me breakfast!
Then I'll be back to make my rounds before I have to run for an appointment. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
And, for the rest of you
..
Now remember, the Canteen is
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
