Cake_crumb, unless I'm misremembering or confusing you with someone else, I think I usually like your posts, but I've gotta agree with Fishtalk's response:

Are we this Mexican-hating Base us awful people who really, really resent illegal immigrants invading our country which is nowhere near the same thing as "hating Mexicans". I await your explanation. Because to dismiss those of us who want a coherent and logical immigration policy as Mexican haters is just plain damn mean.

I'm certainly as much against CFI/Amnesty as anybody here, but it has nothing to do with hating Mexicans. If they come in the right way, not cutting in front of others who played by the rules, and if they're coming in because they want to join America and Americans as opposed to ousting us because they think USA is theirs--then I'm delighted to welcome them.

There are plenty of people who come for the money and are willing to work hard for it, but who also are putting ERs out of business and signing on for benefits... I've seen plenty of both, sometimes in the same person. Who pays?

I think what worries me the most is that many are very poorly educated and--more importantly--totally unaware of what America was created to be, used to be, and can be again. The Constitution is the engine of our success (financially, freedom-wise, etc.) over centuries and is being undermined by our domestic enemies. Yes, I know our own young are being dumbed down in our public propaganda factories--that's another facet of the same problem.

But, bringing in millions of people who have no idea of what we were (and still are pretty much) and who have no interest in learning it let alone our language and who will be bribed with more and more benefits for their uninformed votes will literally destroy what's left of the country. Yes, I know I'm describing more and more natural born Americans, too--again another facet of the same problem, but pull in another 12 million socialist votes (some say as high as 50 million) and the Republic is gone.

I really think that there is a hidden 15-20% of even higher of Americans who will not poll accurately. These people have already made up their minds about candidate Hussein and they do not like what they see. Will it show up in the polls? I doubt it. But given a closed door voting booth the truth will out and he will lose.

It was obvious to me today from watching Dodd on FNS that his L/W DNC agenda was all he had.

. He basically went form one chatting point to the next and when Kyl nailed him on a few key things like raising taxes in a down economy he just smiled as if to say "hey I know its BS but it's what we spew"!

You are absolutely correct. It doesn't matter what McCain says or does, the dems have Congress veto proof.

Re your #47. Wouldn't it be funny if they get enough genuine blue dog dems in that the BDDs suddenly realize they can elect a new Speaker, vote pro-American...

I'd prefer we do the job ourselves, but I'd settle temporarily for Americans running America like it used to be (probably before FDR).

I believe you are correct. Democrats are united in their lies but they have a hard time believing it themselves. I see it every day as their spokespersons try to excuse their behavior and positions.

Any time I hear McCain is another term of Bush, my reaction now is to remind that person Democrats have conroled congress for two years now. How has that worked out?

Exactly, we have to counter them at every turn and then watch how they fold and move on to the next lie.

It would be strictly a guess, but I would say at least two years. It does not take long to get a rig in place on land. In water - WOW. Once you drill, and hit something (and no one seems to consider that some wells are dry - but cost as much to actually drill), it would have to be loaded on a tanker, or put in a pipeline (an entirely additional amount of time to get it built/laid), to get it to a refinery.

Two years,I figured as much.!!!!Thanks so much. The rats run around saying 10 years and go unchallenged as usual!!
Two years is an entirely different world form ten.
Now we have something to go with.
Thanks again mathluv!

Mike Murphy believes Obama is an honest guy. So much for Mike Murphy.

John McCain said exactly the same thing about Hillary.

Dave, there must be a new definition of "truth," and we didn't get the memo.

Sometimes we use apple or cherry if we want to add a sweet flavor. Hickory actually is more sweet than you think. But yeah we slow cook it til it basically falls off the bone.

Yeah, we need big gummit to catch all them Pacos flipping burgers and bucking hay. Perhaps we should close all the farms and let MBA students run them. How bout supply and demand doing what it does best.

Fact is immigration is a loser. How did Tancredo do with it? Most Americans understand that cheap labor is a necessity, like cheap fuel.

Not exactly the am but here it goes.

FNC had an Election HQ focus group comment on the “false comfort of appeasement” GWBush comments.

I can not believe people were just that illiterate or just outright stupid. The focus group had to be infultrated by democrats and leftists. (aka surrender monkeys) One absolute IDIOT said the speech was calling democrats nazis.

Luntz is still skewing everything left.

Remember Luntz is the “expert” who could not grasp that Hillary clinton is in fact a socialist.

FNC is totally in the left tank based on this “coverage” stopped fox and friends a while back on sundays as they were all social left wing cheerleading and clueless on the constitution and law.

This “focus group” is supposed to represent america. This focus group is just propaganda. (bet somebody in there is a recycled RINO story troll voting for a democrat BS)

Unfortunate that Kyl was bad on amnesty. Keep the pressure up, though. Who knows, maybe you can improve his mind on the issue.

Cheap labor is not necessary. That's why we developed the world's most highly industrialized nation.

Everything that can be done by a human being can be done by machinery if we have but the will to develop and invest in it.

Best place for uneducated migratory types is "back home".
