Feminazis, witches, ....

THEMED Protests!?!? Aren’t the protests in and of themselves not enough of a theme? Far be it from me to tell these people how to protest, but distracting symbolism which has nothing to do with your message is not the way to go. In this age of 2 minutes attention spans, people will only remember the outrageous costumes not your message.
Counter measure: Bring really big crosses and shout the witches down with things like “The power of Christ compells ye!” and “Begone, witches - you have no power where Christ is!”
That should annoy them. Or scare them, not sure which.
Extra credit: Build a big bonfire with some stakes on top (don’t light it). See if anyone gets the reference. :D
I suppose railroad ties, would do just as well as stakes...
Oh well one out of three ain't bad. Glad to see they finally found their place in society.
They are just bitter women clinging to their religion.
Bubble, bubble, toil, and trouble. Oh give me a break.
LOL I just got through reading the article, it’s funny as all get-out. Some of my favorite quotes:
Marine Capt. John Paul Wheatcroft:
“They’re always in pink and wear funny things, half-shaved heads, one side with hair and the other one bald, yeah, I’m pretty much used to anything.”
Kimberly Wagner, Berkeley College Republicans activism chair, when asked if she was planning any special events to counter Code Pink’s theme week:
“We’re just going to stick with our regular thing because we have lives and they don’t.”
“A FOX News camera, which has a 24/7 live shot of the recruiting center’s front door, recorded little action, and the gatherings have, until this point, been ill attended.”
And my favorite:
“Ironically, it’s actually helped us by putting our name out. We’re now well known. And people know who we are, and where we are, and they come in to talk to us about enlisting. They’ve gotten us the publicity that we could’ve never afforded to pay for ourselves,” Wheatcroft told FOXNews.com.
“Just in the last three weeks, 10 people came in looking to apply, looking to become Marine officers, and that’s much higher than normal,” he said.
“Witches, clowns and sirens day. . .”
They mispelled the first word. It should start with a “B.” Other than that it is an accurate description of Code Pink woment. And they are beclowning themselves.
Well, witches and sirens day, maybe. With them, every day is "clowns day".
Who is more insane?
These loony &^&*(^%&^&( in Code Pink?
Or
Society for not laughing at them or driving them off with a layer of tar and feathers?
Zanne Sam Joi
April 1. 2008
“Today’s staged press conference with ‘Sasha Shamszad’, ‘Marine Officer Peaceovic’, and Medea Benjamin wasn’t just a fun joke; we were enacting the change we want to see in our community,” said Berkeley protest coordinator Zanne Sam Joi. “We can envision a Shattuck Square without the recruiting station, and now we are recommitting to take action to make it happen, with daily protests outside the station, community education, and the zoning initiative... It’s about time that the Marine Recruiters and the building landlord respect the views of peace-loving Berkeley!”
One Berkeley resident baked cookies to give the recruiters in thanks for leaving her city. “I was disappointed to learn they weren’t leaving, but I gave them the cookies anyway, telling them they were baked with love and that I hope they ‘go in peace.’”
Does this surprise anyone? I’ve thought these women were witches from day one. Big deal.
It is interesting that they would actually come out of the closet to propose this though.
Just dang folks...
