I think “Operation Chaos” was a truly stupid idea and will actually probably result in our having a hard-left, islamist, black-nationalist idiot as our next president. I think people would be far less likely to vote for Hillary than for Osama.

I don’t know what it is that anybody finds likeable about him - I think he’s creepy and malevolent and we will probably have sharia accepted as the equivalent of US law within his first two years. And then imposed by the end of his term. But that doesn’t seem to bother the media one little bit. Not even the idea of Al Sharpton as Secy of State - which started as a joke, but I wouldn’t be in the least surprised to see it - is enough to dissuade the Obama cultists.

Obama will be easier to beat...but Hillary has no chance in hell to be the nominee. Its just gonna be a fight that benefits us.

Regardless, for all the over-reacting in here I might as well throw out the concept of possibility that whichever Dem wins the nomination they could pick the other for the VP.

I’ve never heard so much talk about the “popular vote” in a primary season. If there is so much emphasis on this now, why not do away with the delegate system altogether and just have a national primary?

If the winner of the most votes should be the nominee then I think in many cases past nominees would never have won. Like in 1968 when the guy with the most votes in all the GOP primaries was a fellow named Ronald Reagan! Apparently Nixon did not contest California so Reagan got 100% of the vote there, and on the basis of that state alone, it pushed Reagan ahead of Nixon by just 4/10ths of a percent. Quite interesting.

I’m very worried that Operation Chaos is gonna end up putting the witch in the WH. I feel that BO would be much easier to beat.

Not even Terry McAulliffe counts Michigan and Florida shouldn’t either.

However, it wont’ stop Hillary lovers from dreaming.

Except a political party is a private club and Bush v Gore will not even entitle either the haloed one or Billary to a hearing in court. The parties, down to the state parties, make their own rules as to how delegates are alloted and no court is going to interfere in that reality.

Never count a Clinton out.I have spoken to some Obama supporters who would rather vote for her before they vote for McCain.

Clinton also increases her lead in states based on total population, to date.

Clinton wins in state with a combined population of 170 million.

Obama wins in states with a combined population of 99.9 million.

bump ... I wonder if Obama is going to be a dignified loser in this one or if he will spur that ‘quiet riot’.

Hillary, starting yesterday before the Penn. votes were counted had to win 58% of the votes in the remaining states. She only got 54% in Penn. which is probably going to be her best state. The Dems will not give her the nomination without the popular votes to back it up especially against a black person. Obama is going to be the nominee.

I still say that the dems have screwed themselves. The longer this thing takes and more hard feelings will settle when someone wins over the other one, that there will not be enough time from their convention until election time to heal those wounds. There are gonna be democrats who refuse to vote, especially if HIllary winds up coming from behind to take the nomination.

Fact is, Obama or Hillary are going to be tough to beat in the general. I have a feeling the 'Rats are going to come together no matter who the nominee is. They usually do. There were polls saying things like if Hillary got the nod, 16% of Obama's supporters would go to McCain, and 13% would stay home, with similar numbers for the obverse scenario. But I think the 'Rats will rally behind the head 'Rat.

McCain is going to have a tough time bucking the anti-Republican tide. There is a Bush fatigue factor that will spill over into all 'Pub candidates. McCain was in Youngstown trying to pitch the free trade-globalist message. That isn't going to win it for him. That's like trying to sell the Mossad to Hamas. Utter suicide.

The optimal scenario here, people, is Obama is nominated and his people’s hatred for Hillary so intense that she is not asked to be VP. He will pick some other non descript woman.

That will enrage her. She and Bill will then embark on a campaign to DEMAND that Democrat Congress people get more funding from donors and from the party. She will appear with Obama and give a campaign speech for him in NY, but from that speech she will proceed to the party where she will demand more and more emphasis on funding for Dem Congress people, knowing that every penny that goes to those candidates comes out of money that would have gone to Obama.

She will thus get him beaten by McCain.

If she wins, Obama will in no way do the same thing. In fact, she may even pick him for VP.

SHE MUST NOT WIN. She needs to be destroyed now. Obama MUST win North Carolina and nearly win Indiana.

That’s what Karl Rove was telling the Friends on Fox this morning...that the last time he checked, we had 50 states and not 48.

Thanks, Rush. Thanks Operation Chaos. Thanks to you, the Witch may very well be our next CIC. The best laid plans...

Troll or ignorance caused by NO understanding of what chaos is being caused in the democrat ranks by Hillary staying in the race as long as possible.

Rush could not care any less about WHO wins the democrat nomination. As long as it goes on and on and on making the pair spend money to simply get democrat votes and to be constantly attacking each other instead of our nominee on the Republican side. That is chaos!

I don’t think Obama can go to the courts; these are party nominating rules, not laws that govern a general election like Bush/Gore.
