Yesterday Barack Obama told a Philadelphia reporter that if elected President, he would “immediately” ask his Attorney General to look into prosecuting former Bush officials for war crimes and torture: Obama would ask his AG to ‘immediately review’ potential of crimes in Bush White House.

The radical wackos will vote for him for sure. But this will get many Republicans to get out of their houses on election day and vote for McCain.
Any other candidate...particularly any GOP or conservative candidate would have been hounded out of the race long ago had they uttered similar things, had similar attachements, or come up with similarly off-the-wall proposals as Obama has.

The pride of the American electoral system and of America's respect for law is that the loser of an election, or the predecessor of a newly elected leader, is secure in his person when power changes hands. He is not shot, nor are his relatives. The American people appreciate this in their hearts, and will respond very badly if this kind of sabre-rattling on the part of Oprah, I mean Obama, is talked about.
Sen. Obama is deeply unready for prime time. He is possibly more clueless and tone-deaf than Kerry—even though he is a much better speaker. If Obama is the Dem candidate, he will lose to just about anybody. You just never know what stupid thing he will say next. If "Operation Chaos" is managed properly, he could win the nomination and discredit the entire Democratic Party with his in-your-face Marxism for years to come.
