A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY

I know what you mean. I’m so thankful I took Claritin for the past few days. I can feel it after being out there. Tomorrow should be warmer! :)

Hi Amy
Thanks! This day flew by for me too because it was so nice out.
My daughter is off next week. Is Prissy Missy off too? I love when they are off. We have such a great time together.

PrissyMissy goes to school next week. She has had minimum days this week due to parent/teacher conferences.
Today we went to the neighborhood park for a mini picnic. She and two of her friends played for about an hour. The weather was warm enough that it was pleasant.
Why doesn’t your daughter have school this week?

Marissa had 6 days at Easter.
The last day of school is June 11th. I’m going to send her to summer school for 2 weeks. She needs to be around kids and it might help her with math. (I hope it helps with math) :^ )

Mini picnic lunch .... not very exciting.
I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The other mother brought chicken strips and corn dogs.
I made 2 dips ( ranch and onion) with Ruffles and Wheat Thins. I started to buy a potato salad since I didn’t make one but decided against it because I would be the only one that ate it.
I took fruit juice drinks and bakery cookies.
I told you!! Nothing exciting. ;^ )

The wind wasn’t blowing today so it was nice at the park.
It is a very small park with limited playground equipment. The kids enjoy it because it gives them a chance to play and run of some excess energy.
I enjoy it because I get to talk to another “mother” about what is going on at school and with the girls.
When we got home, I took a nap while Marissa and Grampa watered the garden and planted some peppers.
It was a nice day!

You know - on a picnic, EVERYTHING is just wonderful! Even PBJ. Don’t know what it is - but everything tastes like ‘heaven’ on a picnic!
Hope you had a great time!

We had a great time and Marissa enjoys picnics. Heck, she even enjoys the ones we have on a blanket in the living room. LOL
