1) Did Rush give Hillary new life because he wanted to show that he still had influence, and will that fact allow the Dem's to avoid a crushing democratic defeat?
2) Did Hannity put the scoop and ratings ahead of the country's welfare by not holding the Rev. Wright stuff till the Dem race was settled?
I doubt it. I'm a Notre Dame football fan, and when we hired the black coach 10 years ago, most of us assumed that probably black super-athletes would come to our school for that reason. It turns out the black coach was a terrible recruiter of black athletes.
The fact was that black athletes and their families were looking after their self-interest more than identity politics, as it were.
My point isn't Hillary would probably win, but that Obama would certainly lose, and in a total rout that would carry over in a big way to the House and Senate.
‘No’ to both questions. And Hannity “broke” the ‘Reverend’ Wright story a year ago but no one listened.
Obama would win merely because he is black.

So, why do trolls pop up all the time and get in stupid messages like that?
Ego my a$$.
Ego is folks like you jerking Limbaugh or Hannity around like this, and trying to blame good folks who get the word out to those who will listen, instead of going after the idiots who screwed us out of the only two Conservatives on the original tickets.
The fact that non-Conservative states had the first primaries and that lots of Democrat crossover voters chose our nominee before Conservatives ever got to vote took away our chance for “an historic” victory.
Good questions!
1. Yes
2. Yes
You could have just as easily posted this on the Rush thread....sheesh
The Wright mine has barely been explored. There will be plenty more, and even more damaging, information coming out of that history.
And as the pressure mounts on Obama, he keeps saying things of increasing ignorance that can/will be used against him.
The first part “Did Rush give Hillary new life because he wanted to show that he still had influence...” and the 2nd “Did Hannity put the scoop and ratings ahead of the country’s welfare..” part are assumptions. Hard to prove ones at that. Even if they are true they’re all part of the process of how info is revealed. The $h!+ stick swings both ways in the race for the WH. No matter who wins or loses people will make up their own minds on who they like and dont like.
Before Operation Chaos, Rove said that he thought that it would better if the Dem primary ended right away with Obama as the winner.
Rush took it upon himself, at a time that he was being teased for loosing influence, to make a big splash by trying to give Hillary life.
The story was broken by one of the main networks, I forget which one. No one was paying any attention to Hannity until one of the other networks picked it up and played the video, followed by O’Reilly.
My guess is that Hillary put it out there to the guy from one of the three regular channels.
AFAIC this race is like going into a cafeteria only to see they serve mustard sandwiches, baked rutabegas with limburger sauce and liver flavored popcicles. Why not have a little fun?
Finally, someone who is at least willing to entertain the questions.
It seems that people on this thread so far are like the Democrats on Air America, so locked in to their guy that they don't have the ability to see the way things actually are.
And, although I realize this is completely anecdotal, they all seem to have early to mid-January 2008 sign-up dates. Hmmmmmm......
1) People seem to very interested in the topic judging by the response.
2) I want a wider audience.
There will be no victory in this years election.
BUT, he's probably not going to get the nomination now, and all this damaging material will be useless.
Kosovo Rose and The Afro-Messiah both stand a chance of winning the Whitehouse because the Gelded Oaf Party chose to throw conservatives under the bus by fronting Juan Mcloon in a bid to sucker independents and squishy leftists into voting for the third leg of the socialist triumvirate.
Put blame where it belongs, squarely at the feet of the power-mad leftists now running the G.O.P.
