Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Tuesday called for a "diplomatic surge" including talks with US foe Iran, to help stabilize the situation in Iraq.
The Illinois Senator battling Hillary Clinton called for more pressure on the Iraqi government to embrace political reconciliation and a regional "diplomatic surge that includes Iran."
"We should be talking to them as well," Obama told the top US General in Iraq David Petraeus and US ambassador to Baghdad Ryan Crocker.
"I do not believe we are going to be able to stablize the situation without that."

Obama - First you need to have enough guts to talk to interviewers/reporters at Fox News. What makes you think you have enough guts to talk to “Imanutjob” if you can’t do that?

So, we parachute the left half of the State Department into Tehran with three days rations, and best wishes.
All in favor, say "AYE"!

Okay.
Hey Iran: Knock it off — or else.

Obama wants to negotiate the terms of our surrender to the Mullahs.
He will angle for an unconditional surrender.

Osama should convince them of the following:
Jihad is not the answer!
Stop Jihad Now!
Why don't they try leaving everybody else alone (at least until the next Republican POTUS comes around).

Now, let's see. When was the last time that a major power talked to a potentially dangerous enemy about the fate of yet another nation? Why, it was Prime Minister of England, Neville Chamberlain, and he was talking to Chancellor Adolf Hitler of Germany about the fate of Chechoslovakia.
And what was the result of that? Chamberlain returned to England with a piece of paper in his hand that he proclaimed meant "peace for our time." Checkozlovakia was dismembered. And WW II, which killed upward of 100 million people, started a year later.
Just how stupid is Barack Obama? Don't answer that. It's a rhetorical question.
