NEW YORK, New York (AP) -- A spokesman for Vogue says the magazine's April cover sought to celebrate two superstars at the top of their game.

But critics say it perpetuates racial stereotypes because they say Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James looks like King Kong in his pose with model Gisele Bundchen.

Exactly what I was thinking -- and not because of his race. It's because he's a BIG guy, and on the court he looks downright HUGE as he thrashes the opposition. Good guy (know some people who know him, all say he's a rare class act in the NBA), done well, go Cavs! Also, compared to that waif, ANY athlete would look like King Kong!
