Thats the way Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré will be remembered. Not as a young woman with potential, as are all of our young women. No, shes now known as the $4,300-an-hour ho who brought down the Governor of New York.
Many in our entertainment intelligentsia consider prostitution a victimless crime, thus Ashley Alexandra Kristen Duprés activities are going to be her ticket to fame and fortune. Shes probably already received many offers from agents who know they can sell her name, face, voice and body. They know there will be interested parties waiting to exploit her newfound fame, or infamy depending how you look at it.
As usual with this generation, its all about her. On her MySpace page she wrote,
I am all about my music, and my music is all about me . It flows from what Ive been through, what Ive seen and how I feel. I live in New York and am on top of the world.
Well, if she could make it there, she can make it anywhere.
Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré alludes to a broken home and abuse. If true, that is tragic. However, there are many other people who have survived broken homes and not turned to breaking the law. Prostitution IS against the law.
Granted, unlike Eliot Spitzer who gleefully put people in jail as New Yorks attorney general and has no sympathy coming his way from the public, Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré may give community service a new name and will come out of this a rich woman. She may get a book deal, recording contract, or a modeling gig. She probably wont be earning $4,300-an-hour, but she will be able to work, for the most part, standing up.
Personally, Im hoping her name becomes a noun.

She was “only” $1000 / hour, Spitzmas was paying for more than one hour, including some prepayment for time in the future.
Playboy is probably drooling over the monetary returns from a “Girls Of The Emperor’s Club” issue....
Hopefully she will sell her story and use the money to get an EDUCATION and then get a respectable job!
By the way, she was the ticket to Eliot’s downfall (and Hillary’s one fewer superdelegates), you’ve got to give her credit for that.
And the agency was taking up to half of that $1,000.
Well I guess it sure as hell was against the law when Spitzer was taking down prostitution rings and saying "the johns are just as guilty" for the television cameras and the cable news shows.
Now, for some reason, the whole subject is just the result of American prudery and provincialism, at least according to Alan Dershowitz of Harvard University.
The left is such a joke. There's no dummy as dumb as a dummy who thinks he's brilliant. The Democrat party is led by people like that.
Which one?
How long before she gets a reality show on MTV or E! channel? Most of the people on those shows already are pretty much like her, except they don’t get paid for it. ;)
She should make as much money as she can from this, maybe that way she won’t have to sell sex anymore. I’m talking books, movie rights, calendars , etc.
After Britain’s Profumo scandal, John Profumo devoted his life to working with poor people and he basically did penance for over 30 years. I wonder if Spitzer will do that?
Oh, WELL. That changes everything...
:-)
Spitzer is the ultimate leftist hero.
He was crusading against the evil capitalists, bringing them down on the thinnest of evidence,
while indulging in the ONLY freedom that the left actually endorses - sex.
Cloud - silver lining. She was able to do what hundreds of thousands of Republicans and millions of dollars couldn’t do. She helped to remove a very ruthless man from public office.
This girl and Lewinsky ought to become PhDs in psychology, then open a clinic for the mental illness called liberalism. Whatever in the world made Spitzer think he could buy the silence of an entire criminal enterprise of prostitution? Especially after having come down hard on wrongdoers in his previous office. He must be crazy.

It's very likely that this is true, something that is either forgotten or ignored by the men who are involved in prostitution.
Hilldog or Obamdog will not be asking about how much of the $1,000/hr she was making was being spent on health care.
She didn't HAVE to in the first place.
And getting more money isn't going to change the characteristics within her that made her choose perversion as a profession.
Sure. After a suitable "cooling off" period, a time for reflection and self examination, in a place where the "healing process" can "move forward," Spitzer will be ready to "open the next chapter" as a expert commentator on some cable news show. His insightful remarks will be a great help to "the poor."
