Dear Jim..OK, the GOP now has its candidate. McCain isn't the first choice of the majority of us on FR, and even now, there are spirited, yet for the most part, civil exchanges on the threads as to whether or not some will support the GOP nominee. One of the more unfortunate, and unpleasant events on FR was the mass banishment and/or leaving of a great many Freepers who were supporters of Rudy Guliani for the nomination. I'm posting this to see if you'd be open to the idea of inviting them to return, and see how others might feel about this.

My last post I think was a bit later than Nov. 19. Not exactly a senior moment because the 19 of anything is now burned deeply into my psyche for the world crashed on January 19 when Rep. Hunter dropped out of the race. Sob!

Why not freepmail JR on the issue ?
My OPINION, ya seem to seek, is that those banned were just hostile, rude and made personal attacks on those that didn’t agree with them. Got to agree to disagree sometimes or get the boot. Not so much per se that they were rudybots etc , more like disruptor’s.........:o)
Don’t let em back if they were warnedbefore they were banned.
Just my opinion of course !
