The surviving dog was taken by Animal Control officers. He is expected to recover.

Too bad. An animal that dangerous with that kid of history, should be put down.

PETA will file lawsuits today on behalf of the murdered dogs by the evil Seattle police.

Wish I could see a picture of the scumbag that trained the dogs that way and let them roam. He should have been shot along with the dogs. Sad indeed.

We live in the country and have had a stray pit bull show up in the last three weeks, apparently living out in the orchards around us, and has tried to get at our dogs, our neighbor’s dogs, and as of yesterday our neighbor’s children. I put my rifle by the back door and my bullets in my desk drawer. The next time I see it.... S.S.S.!

Cops sure love to shoot 'em some dogs, don't they?

Better shoot the neighbor's dog for good measure. Might have been conspiring with the pit bulls.

As the owner of a Pit Bull for 16 years I have learned one undeniable truth: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD DOG, ONLY A BAD OWNER! As a guy who did route work as an exterminator in “da hood”, I saw first hand what these scumbags do to those poor animals. Bleach in the water, gun powder in the food, cutting out their voicebox are par for the course. All dogs, INCLUDING PIT BULLS, are God’s creatures and should be treated as such. IMHO: when it comes to children and pets, all bets are off. Harm either at your own peril.

This is why I like my guns. They are dangerous, but, contrary to popular belief, they don’t go out and attack anybody on their own.

Well, if you shoot as many dogs as the police do, you’re bound to hit a genuinely bad one every now and again.

My neighbor has a chocolate pit bull who is wonderful when he sees me he comes up on fence and licks and is docile as can be, and runs the fence with my pup. I always had a negative attitude about then, but I am a dog lover and never show fear or anxiety.

...the scumbag that trained the dogs that way and let them roam...

Dogs don't need to be trained to "pack up." It's more normal to them than licking peoples feet to get fed every day. That said, anyone that lets any breed roam is asking to have them shot. I fired two warning shots out of the goodness of my heart last week.If the dogs come back, they're targets. And they weren't remotely related to pitbulls, which I like.

but how do you explain the true stories of the precious, pampered family pit bull who turns on a child in the family (who has offered it only love and affection) and kills it (usually babies / toddlers)??? This happens A LOT.

Your argument is illogical based on the evidence.

I have sometimes neglected my guns, for weeks at a time, or cursed at a hard to reassemble Ruger. The guns didn't mind at all -- they took it just fine, and didn't become angry and hard to control.

I find that many times it’s the owners of the dogs that are the problem.

I think many if not most owners of incessantly barking dogs must be deaf or else they have very good double glazed windows or very good insulation. Apparently they never hear their dogs barking from midnight until 5 or 6 in the morning. Only their poor, sleepless neighbors do.

Dogs will do different things in pairs or packs than a single dog will do.

I'm sure it will be. Ever watch animal cops? They always kill the dog fighting pit bulls even if they're people friendly because they can't ever be trusted.
