You near Wells or Wendover? I love Nevada, but haven’t yet had the chance to explore the northern part of the state.
I don’t know...I can’t recall the last 6 or above in NE Nevada.
man we had a two hour thunder storm last nite come thru Phoenix that was huge............One massive lightnin’ story but with repeated thunder claps that rattled teeth
one time, 3 thunder claps at a time
Oh, the ground shakes here from time to time. It just isn't caused by earthquakes.
When I was asked to come over here, they didn't really ask if I would rather be in an earthquake. ;-)
Good. What lives in Vegas can stay in Vegas.........Don’t want them coming for a visit any time soon.........
LOL!!!...They never asked ME where I wanted to go when I was in, either!.......right rude of them.......
There’s a difference between routine on a personal time scale and routine geologically.
Nevada overall has had quite a few 6+ quakes in the last 100 years. It’s the third most seismic state after Alaska and California.
Shhhh... It’s nothing but barren, sand, cactus and crazy people. No need to visit.
Morning:’)
Sounds like after I had a burritio.
Keep your head down, f’goodness sake...
I’m up north in Elko ... The actual Nevada! :-) Just west of Wendover and Wells.
You near Area 51...?
I’ll agree with the “crazy people” part. You must know my relatives...............
I understand the seismic history and geology of Nevada and the west, however, I was referring to recent history. As I said, I just don't recall hearing about 6 or above quake in that region, (NE NV). No doubt it has occurred in the distant past.
I'm not even in.
That's the sad part. Nobody made me come here. LOL
It's a blend of patriotism, being a bit of an adventure-junkie and now wanting to see how it ends.
I don't think there's much difference. The Earth moves with the impact of incoming artillery, anyway. At least in Bagdad you get a chance to strike back. Who do you fight in an earthquake? God?
This is just another birth pang of the apocalypse anyway. They are getting to be closer together and more intense.
Gotta ask yourself a heavenly minded question: RAPTURE READY?
Yep. I’ve been in more earthquakes than I can count. It’s one thing I don’t sleep through, for sure.
It's actually been very quiet today and quiet for the most part lately. Much quieter than last year at this time.
Of course, there's a lot going on in surrounding countres now...
