Its the third most seismic I understand the seismic history and geology of Nevada and the west, however, I was referring to recent history. As I said, I just don't recall hearing about 6 or above quake in that region, (NE NV). No doubt it has occurred in the distant past.

No doubt it has occurred in the distant past.This map verifies your take, dragnet. It shows nothing >5.0 in eastern Nevada since the 1700s. Of course, that's not to say that area isn't a lot less evaluated than points west.
