Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Haiku

Tiggy Haiku

Green eyes in a ball
of pewter fluff driven by
curiosity

Floating silently
over thick carpets. Whiskers hum
with expectation

Nice long, tall tunnel
behind the huge Book Case has
possibilities

Whiskers are here for
balance when I desire to
defy Gravity

Wide paws splay to seek
purchase as one challenge is
easily conquered

A different point of
from The Big Long Chair. Finished
in two fluid leaps

Table tops are close
yet not close enough. Perhaps
in a week or two?

The Sun is just right
for lots of shadows to melt
inside and explore

Could explore some more
or cuddle with My Pretty
One? That's a tough call!

That is so precious and the poem is cute. My cat is so clumsy, lol, she falls over her own feet.

Between The Eternities
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them. —Hebrews 11:13

In the television western Broken Trail, cowboy Prentice Ritter must provide words of comfort at the funeral of a friend. Uncomfortable in the situation, he quietly says, “We are all travelers in this world. From the sweet grass to the packing house, birth till death, we travel between the eternities.”

In a sense, he was right. We are travelers—pilgrims—in a world that offers no lasting peace or rest. And while there is only one eternity, we travel between eternity past and eternity future, waiting for promises of a home and a hope that will last forever—promises yet to be fulfilled.

In those times of struggle and despair when our pilgrimage of life is difficult, it is helpful to remember that though we are pilgrims who travel between the eternities, we have a Savior who is the Lord and Master of eternity. He has offered us the promise of life with Him forever and has secured that promise with His own sacrifice. This was the promise spoken of by the writer of Hebrews 11:13.

We are locked into the moments and hours and days of life, but we look ahead by faith in Christ. One day, we will experience the promises of eternity when faith will become sight as we see Him. That hope is what lifts us beyond life between the eternities to a joy that is eternal.

Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but Thou art mighty,
Hold me with Thy powerful hand.  —Williams

For time and eternity, Jesus is all we need.

Good morning to everyone at the finest! what a lovely eclipse of the moon. I saw the tail end after Bible Study last night.. crisp clear (cold) night with good open sky to enjoy it. This morn I had the dogs out about 6 & the moon had a wonderfu eerie haze about it.. lovely.

Snow comes tonight. I have a LOT to do today to get ready for the Support Group Party tonight..

We were blessed in southern California with good visibility last night to see the wondrous moon eclipse. It was cold here but not as cold as other parts of the nation.

For all the "Aunties" and others, Momma Marie Hummer definitely has two babies and they are growing by leaps and bounds; she feeds them countless times per day. Storms rolling in for the weekend.
