Again...I don’t know why Johnny boy is so worried. I’m calm. I’m calmly switching my registration to Independent. I’m calmly rejecting his candidacy, and I’m calmly writing in my own.

“McCain has little regard for freedom of speech. “
Does that mean that Dobson now does support freedom of speech? That’s a pleasant change. Why hasn’t he told anyone before now?

I couldn’t listen to his whole speech to CPAC but the part that had me holding my side is where he said he would veto any bill that came to him with any earmark.
He’s been a Senator for how long? I wonder what Senator McCain would say to President McCain about it?
I wonder if President Bush refused to sign any legislation with earmarks for the rest of his term, how McCain would react to that.

If McCain were smart he would go fight a number of loud messy battles on solid Conservative issues with the Senate Democrats. He has the time since Hillary and Obama are still slugging it out. He should go push a spending Cap or a fully funded Border fence bill or something.
He does not need to win, he just got to show Conservatives his words are actually backed up by deeds.

MCCAIN TO CONSERVATIVES: CALM DOWN.Conservatives to McCain: "We are calm, Johnny, pookums. We are CALMLY rejecting you as having been demonstrably proven to be willing to peddle the sanctity of this country's borders -- and, thus, the very security of this sovereign nation -- to Mexico for a wadded, greasy handful of used pesos."
"We are CALMLY rejecting you from serious consideration, insofar as garnering the vote of any serious, principled c-o-n-s-e-r-v-a-t-i-v-e is concerned, for precisely that reason.
"CALMLY, mind you.

“WHY”?
Because we two shooting wars ongoing, the Dhimmirats have pledged to cut and run, fleeing in the face of Al Quida is not my idea of a political strategy.
“Gee, if we lose in Iraq like Hilde’ and Huessein said we would, Conservatives will come out better off four years from now”?
WTH is that?

These anti McCain posts just get stupider and more twisted as we go. McCain is a long time Scalia fan. He supported Roberts AND Alito. As discussed here many times, he made a "comment" that he might support nominees more like Roberts than Alito, for confirmation purposes.
Last time I looked, conservatives ADORE Roberts and Scalia. Yet somehow we are worried about McCain picking up to 6 Scalias/Roberts, but we are not worrying about Hilary or Obama picking 6 young Ruth Bader Ginzburgs?
This is all getting idiotic. I heard McCain today, I voted against him but he now has my full support.
