This is a first for me, I haven't voted yet, I'm at a loss with these choices.

I voted for McCain though I am disgusted to say it. If he picks Huckabee for his VP I will write in Fred Thompson.
To: Jean S
I’m voting for FRed, unless by some miracle we get an acceptable candidate out of a brokered convention.

(Don't blame me. I voted for FRED!! I'm a refugee from the GOP.)
To: Jean S
Neither, but I might put down a bet on the Dems winning 50 House seats and 10 Senate seats.

If you took the names of the candidates away and listed them as candidate A and B, and listed below them their stances on issues, post past and present, I guess I would choose the one that belonged to Huckabee.
Thats the only way I can do look at it at feel any level of comfort.

Duncan Hunter..........write in.
And don't feed me bunk about wasting my vote anyone.
I would be wasting my vote on McCain or Huckabee.
So I'll waste it on someone who should be on the ticket.

Could not vote for either. Will focus on electing a consertative Senate and House. Cannot tell the difference between McCain, Huckabee, Clinton and Obama.

Who would you like to see him pick as VP?

I voted for McCain. I’m not sure that’s how I would vote, but while Huckabee is more “conservative” all around than McCain, McCain is, for all his faults, the only one of the two who really is qualified to run this country right now. Give Huckabee a few years and some lessons in how to think before opening his mouth, and he might be acceptable.
There was a time I could argue that Dan Quayle was a great choice for VP, but not in a time of war. We need someone who won’t take a year learning how the military works — and as far as I can tell, Huckabee has shown no particular interest in learning that, because I haven’t noticed any advancement in his thoughts on the subject in the last three months.
If I wasn’t relatively certain McCain WILL appoint good judges, I’d vote Huckabee and pray like mad. (I’ll be praying like mad anyway).
